View Full Version : I hate it when big brother does stupid things like this...

Letting housemate get involved with the outside or bringing someone in that's not a HM. It kinda ruins the point of big brother and disrupts the whole 'trapped inside a house with the same people' idea.

Atleast it's not as bad as when they let Lisa and David out in London

agreed - not to mention that a Glee task seems to pander to 12 year olds and below!

What is Glee even? Anything to do with that new US tv series with a kid from Jurassic Park in the pilot episode? Or somethin' else?

STRONGLY AGREE!

Defeats its own purpose, tears down the wall, ruins much of what they worked for all this time.

Not only that but I find these stupid and annoying in their own right.

I'm really disappointed they stupidity that the BB producers are coming up with, its completely ruining it!

Glee is the most goddam awful American tripe of a series - song and dance nonesense that focuses on a high school show choir (a modern glee club).

It seems to attact a viewership of mainly 10s to early teenies, which presumably must also be C4s target aidience these days (remember the show is even sponsored by an acne cream!)

What's a Glee club? What is Glee? It's not just another lame attempt to be Grease (a la Hairspray and High School Musical) is it?

Glee is High School Musical for TV or "Fame" for the 21st Century (if you're old enough to remember that). In the USA a glee club is like a musical theatre club - sing show tunes, do dance routines, etc.

Yes I agree.... the HM's become more aware that they are being watched...and they are not themselves...

I was against it too, but this is one of my favourite tasks ever on BB! Absolutely hilarious!

It was just sucha pointless task, why did they even bother? i thought the whole point was they would be completely isolated from the outside world...:conf: this year all the HM's are way more conscious about how the outside world percieve them:mad: makes for boring tv..

Which is why i've always been against new HM's.The originals learn so much from them.

Hardly, considering it's a teen show so how does it apply to 12 and under?

I don't watch it though, couldn't get into it sadly.
But obviously C4 wanted to advertise their TV show it's funny how they didn't actually mention Glee the TV Show infact it came across more as a High School Musical task.

Yea way too much, I don't like new HM's coming in, especially when they have been allowed watch it.. they have their favourites already picked & the people they dont like..

hated it as well and they are fiddling with voices to make them sound good, i think they had already done it the second time josie sang, as she was hopeless the first time.

Agreed. Ruins the show when there is outside contact, defeats the object of the game.
