'Please guys can we get some sleep'

It's this same BS every night.

Your on a reality TV show, the last series infact and you have very limited time left.

Just have a laugh FFS.

The housemates were all talking and actually being a tiny bit entertaining and he buts in 'Can we all go to sleep seriously!'

Just leave the house and go to the nearest Premier Inn and go to sleep while the rest of us watch this lot.

If I were BB I'd play that alarm in right now, because I bet they would all get up and dance and Ben would have a mental break down and smash the mirrors and strangle the Camera Man.

That would be the icing on the cake for Ben, however he would probably pack the task in after 15 minutes.

Ben should really have had his own "Reception Room" (chortles) come bedroom in fairness. It appears that he was expecting prior to going-in.

Any stick to beat Ben with eh? He's getting physically sick now because of permanent exhaustion due to the inconsideration of these morons. But so long as it's Ben that's okay right?

There's a whole huge house outside the bedroom for those that want to chat, scream, shout and generally be noisy and disruptive. If anything those idiots that persisitently do it should have a task from BB by way of punishment, whereby they are forced to stay awake 24/7 so they can feel what it's like to be exhausted to the point of being ill.

If they want their air time when everybody else wants to sleep, let them grab it somewhere else, the selfish bastards.

He hasn't had a full night's sleep for six weeks with Steve's snoring - not everyone is built the same and can survive on only a few hours a night. The point you appear to be deliberately missing is that it is totally unnecessary for ANY of them to be creating havoc in the bedroom at night when there is a whole house to do it in. These are the same HMs who castigated Ben for not being a team player, well it's beginning to look more and more like vindictiveness by the other HMs, who ought to be practising what they preach.

There is absolotley no need for people to be shouting and throwing stuff in the early hours,no matter what their situation, people need sleep, some of them nap in the day,but because it's ben some people think it's ok,I wonder if YOU would like it,I guess the answer would be no,Ben was right, there are other rooms.

Since the BB rules are that housemates can only sleep in the bedroom, then equally there should be no excessive noise in the bedrooms, its bad enough with Steve snoring for the whole of England without a screechy little madam adding to it. IF any of you on here were trying to sleep and others were making a din while you were then I dare bet you would do what any other person would do and what Ben does and tell them to be quiet.Yes its areality show but they are expected to be up and about all day by BB so equally they should be able to sleep at night especially too.
I would tell her to shut up and if she didnt then I would push her out the bedroom.the selfish screeching menace that she is.A very disruptive girl with little thought for other people.

Oh well on the subjest of people threatening to leave JJ supporters should keep quiet on that, I have lost count the times JJ has crawled in to the diary room, head down and false no tear filled eyes saying he is going to leave, Ben threatening to leave. It must be something he has learned from John James he is the master at getting BB sympathy by saying he wnats to leavem even to have them drag the equally false Josie into the diary room to play his games with on a day he was supposedly AGAIN going to leave, Amazing how its fine for JJ to do that but no one else.
JJ fans have very selective memories indeed and their man is the worst offender at saying he wants to leave but with no intention of ever doing so,still it gets him even more airtime.

Some people need sleep ,some people like it ,ben has said he likes to sleep to make the time pass quicker,he is simply bored and lacking someone who he can talk to about different topics,When people feel tired all the time they are more grumpy,it wasn't just ben asleep last night other were too but they were lucky they could sleep though it,I would think ben is a light sleeper as he is quite nervy and imo,the housemates are selfish at night,so they can hardly call ben up for the same thing, can they?

Sorry but it's a communal room, all members of it are free to do whatever the **** they want.

We all know that Ben doesn't like sharing/team work and so maybe it's about time he accepted that:

A) This is the Big Brother house
B) If they want to talk/mess around in the bedroom, they are free to do so

If he had his way they'd all be in bed by midnight and there would be absolutely nothing going on on LF at night. It's dull enough as it is already - let's not make it duller.

I'd bet a wine gum to a barm cake that those with little sympathy of the situation (other than the outright Ben haters) aren't old enough to know just how much a single nights broken sleep (let alone several) can actually affect a person. It's all well and good when you're young but after the age of around 30 the body and mind needs more time to rest and regenerate. Ben doesn't exactly strike me as a "live wire" so perhaps he has a low metabolism further compounding the problem.

I doubt that BB would be allowed to do a "sleep deprivation" task (other than a duration task) on medical grounds and the PC backlash.

Well yes for this one where the group dynamic sees anti-social behaviour in the bedroom at night tolerated, although BB have stepped in to try and calm it down a bit (kinda puts pay to your argument about doing whatever you want). In past series' keeping folk awake would have got you nominated.

His constant whingeing is more likely to get HIM nominated.

It was ironic a few nights back that he started a rant that went on for so long it was HIM who was keeping the others from being able to retire (to something like 3.45am)

Not sure ben knew exactly what BB entails,as he thought it had reception rooms etc,he is not in bed all the time, all he asks if for a decent kip,and rachael WAS a bliddy pest, last night along with Dave, and as he said the nest would be a good place to mess about or any of the other rooms,if they don't want to sleep, why go in the room, and I've said before,Steve told them off and they all shut up,so why cant they do the same for Ben and Corin?

Exactly, they know they are being out of order they just don't have respect for Ben's feeling.
I'm on the road a lot with my band and we share dorms all the time. We party into the wee small hours but the only way that it works (in the room and for other paying customers of the establishment) is if you have respect one another.

Some people equate ill manners and antisocial behaviour with entertainment. They can't seem to undo the of suspension of reality between real life and scripted drama situations simply because it is on the telly.
