It does my bliddy tats in. If you agree with that post you can quote it and add something a bit more constructive than just "this"

I have responses to a post with the remark 'this' but never understood it. So when someone writes 'this' what exactly does it mean?

It means they agree fully with the post they quoted but can't be arsed to type it themselves because maybe they have a cuppa on the other hand, or doing something naughty with it, or they're watching friends at the same time, etc..the list of reason for not being bothered to type is endless.

I think when people post 'this' (not as a joke lol) its because they think they're to cool to post a full sentence . I just ignore it now xD

Not this.

I type plenty of opinions and full sentences.. but if you agree with someone it is just short and sweet to say "this".

Thanks for explaining 'this' Now that I understand that some are too lazy to type I will take no notice of it.

Apologies, my post was a bit cryptic. I meant that if you're browsing a thread at work whilst trying to *look* like you're working it's not always possible to type a long post but a 'This' (not that I've ever posted a 'this' but I do confess to a few 'what she said's) is more manageable!

I suggest using the term "gay", to refer to something in a critical fashion, is unimaginative and offensive to homosexuals.

Can we ban the word 'gay' meaning anything bad/naff/etc. Gay should be connected with very positive things.
