I know it's not a swear word although I do see why the mods would possibly want to censor it. From their point of view it probably makes the forum look messy and rude. They want to do all they can to make the forum seem inviting to add new members. Similarly I can see why you're annoyed, but at the end of the day it's down to the mods.

Fair do's I say, but from a members point of view I don't see the problem with using that word :)

Truth is, and I don't care what James or Mark says, swearwords do not make a forum tacky or tasteless. It's the members. There are many forums that have zero censorship and all members still behave. You know why? Because they actually have mods that do their job and do it well.

Essentially, all you are doing is masking over the cracks. You can do that all you like - it will improve NOTHING.
