The arguement between Jodie vs Pete and Michael was disgusting.
The way Pete and Michael just sat there and picked at her like that, was like watching a lion pick at a gazelle.
I admit, sometimes Jodie does bring stuff on herself, but the way Pete tried explaining it to her like that was plain bullying.
I am glad to see Pete's numbers go up on the TiBB homepage poll.
I have lost even more respect for Pete now.

:nono:
Big mistake Petey boy!

Omg you literally took the words from my mouth. Lol.
She stook up for herself there. Shes right about the Jordan thing!!
Thats all anyone wants to hear about. (Except Chant, Prest, etc)
She did the right thing, by walking away with her head up high, and her shoulders back.
Good on yer girl!

Pete is not doing himself any favours at all.

Over the last couple of days i've started to really dislike him.

I watched the whole thing for 2 hours on the E4+1 feed this morning, and was horrified.

Jodie is no angel, but they picked at every little thing that didn't matter, it was 2 v 1 and they are gutless.

jodi should consider herself lucky recieving such sound advice.
in anothers world she would have paid through that funky nose via a psychoanalist to get such advice.
maybe she should have had her ears made to match her nose ... than maybe she could listen!

I hope Pete and Barrymore are evicted and they take their inane drivel they spout elsewhere to a chorus of booing. They deserve it.

Yep and I think half the prob was that it was timed at bout 3.30am not the best time in respects of tired and emotional,
Am sure its repeated somewhere on the 4 network in the next 24.

well I think that the tiredness thing has had a slight effect on the housemates. They don't seem to sleep and will be getting a bit intimidated in the house by the lack of space, co operation so it wouldn't be helping their moods... but the housemates do need to chill; they're not promoting good entertainment anymore if they continue like this.

d4dawn
10-01-2006, 10:21 PM
lest we should forget!! the majority of the housemates are celebritys they may not get paid for this but they will earn from it, its a game, maybe some take it a touch too seriously?

Preston is the new favourite - I agree Pete has become nausiating, & well spotted - Barrymore can cry - even in nominations after some mumbling, at which I thought "what was that about?" He accused Jodie of positioning herself in front of camera - well can't get better public attention than the Diary room nominations -he knows they are shown! I'm fed up of his false sympathy seeking crying - & he shouted at Jodie for doing same! Hypocrite - Save Jodie!!! Pete or George to get the hell out.. as long as Jodie stays!

EugeneSully
10-01-2006, 10:23 PM
i think the housemates need a few days seperate to just chill. One of them will be going anyway and this will help but housemates need to make an effort to work together and ignore each other if it's required. Surely they are mature enough for that.

The incident was shown on tonight’s show but in my opinion big brother didn’t dedicate enough time to it. They had enough footage for a whole show and I feel people who didn’t see it first hand are not getting the full picture

This series is turning into a nationwide chicken-fight basically; they're like little animals just trying to rip each other apart in full public viewing. it seems almost too cruel in my opinion! and unacceptable lol :nono:

I think its great Eug.Its what BB does to people.BTW Jodie gets MB back with the camera angle thing, she said it at lunchtime today on live feed when he went into the sofa area to talk to her and chantelle.Another confrontation that may well be on the highlight show moro.

Ok Jodi Marsh invites trouble and is not perfect but I was disgusted to see Pete Burns and Barrymore gang up on her last night in an very b!tchy intimidating fashion which amounted to nothing less than bullying imo.

Discuss.

I thought the points they were making were valid. However, Michael was being unfair, in that he kept asking her to explain things, but when she started to explain, he kept interrupting her. I didn't think Pete was bullying her at all. Actually I don't think Michael was meaning to bully her, but what's the point in asking someone a question, and then not letting them answer? To be honest, I think Pete and Jodie could have had an interesting conversation if Michael had not been there.

I think Barrymore just feels that she has a personal dislike towards him..the man clearly has serious psychological issues....

Calling her a liar was way out of order and he wouldn't speak like that to his peers. The way in which he leaned in towards her staring in to her face was also very aggressive...

Then they ridiculed her for facing a camera and claimed she wanted a symphathy vote? So whats Barrymore doing crying on camera all the time?? NYC Method Actors studio anyone?

Neither of the crafty butchers have done themselves any favours with this display of callous behavious...

I think at the start they were trying to give some good advice and if for just one moment Jodie had not of interupted she may have learnt something but she did interupt quite frequently and this caused the agro, I do think that Pete and Barrymore were a bit harsh though.

GlitterEyes

I think they are genuinely trying to help her but she wont listen. Its hard when the truth hits home and she doesn't like that. I think they come across as bullied as they get frustrated espically bmore....in a way I think he sees part of how he use to be in jodie or he recognises how he was to how she is going.

Everyone's saying Jodie kepy interupting but when she was explaining about the task, Michael kept interupting and then asked her a question which she was trying to explain before freak interupted her. I really don't like that man!!!

The when she said something and he said it was a load of sh!t, she doesn't deserve that! And all that crap about the camera, i know when im in the kitchen i always sit on the worktop lol. I just prefer to!!

Michael is a d!ck!!!! And he still isn't all there in the head yet!!

Pete and Barrymore were making a valid point at first, but they way they said it was inappropriate. It soon descended into bullying. Oh, and having a go at her for facing a camera? Er, HOW many cameras are there i that house? Surely you're nearly always facing a camera?

Slartibartfast
11-01-2006, 01:54 PM
I don't think Pete was bullying her at all, and Michaels only fault IMO was to ask her a question and then interrupt her before giving her a chance to respond. I think Barrymore was spot on in calling her a liar, cos I didn't believe a word she was coming out with. I find it very hard to believe her when she talks such rubbish all the time, and it looks like Barrymore feels the same. Most of his points were pretty valid, although I'm not sure about the camera thing.

Jodie's little trick of turning on the tears and claiming everyone is picking on her won't be fooling me. It looks like it may have fooled a few, and she's hoping to stay in on the sympathy vote, pathetic. Sympathy vote??? Pah, I'd keep her in only cos I get some sadistic pleasure from watching her slowly implode. If she could finish her time in the house with a Feltz-style breakdown, now that would be sweet

It was definitely more Barrymore than Pete, at one stage he wouldn't let Pete get a word in edgeways either. But he seemed to be twisting Pete's words to suit his own opinions.

I agree, I don't think Barrymore's a bully or intended to come across that way. The man simpy isn't in a position to advise other people on their problems when he has his own demons to deal with.

Its a shame we're only treated to edited bits of these arguements which can give a distorted version of what actually went on. In this instance Jodie comes out the victim while Pete and Michael are portrayed as bullies. Hardly fair on them.

I like them both really, but we have to be realistic.
I know bullies... ive had alot of experience with them.
That is what they do. Pick at people.

Whether it was edited or not, yesterdays stuff DID happen, and its plain 100% bullying.

Pete is a bully, no doubt. His own bitterness is out of control.

Michael, I don't think he's a bully, he was getting frustrated. He heard what Jodie said about him on night 1 or 2, and he's hurt by it, so it probably came out

1)Pete's nowhere near as bad as Jackie

2)Don't make generalizations. I think Pete's brilliant, but he's no angel. He can get rather catty at times, but Jodie was asking for it.

Bullying - No

Advice - Yes

Albeit been maybe in the wrong way, but no way is it bullying. Bullying is where you are constantly attacked or victimised. With Jodie, she brings most of the victimisation on herself so it cannot be named bullying.

I think if they give it, they deserve what they get.

Had Jackie or Pete come in and actually behaved half normal, they'd deserve respect. As it is, they are vile creatures who have no hope of help, they are too far gone mentally, they will never become people again.

I tell all my clients they'll end up being vegetables if they don't make serious attempts to sort themselves out.

It's why I don't do over 35's, I think i'd upset too many people, whereas younger people, although they may get upset, I can also tell them, they have a little longer time to sort themselves

Tonights BB made me soo angry how michael is in ppls faces and then banging on about how ppl are talking to him.I know something needed to be said to chantelle about jodie as she is getting dragged down and don't get me wrong i'm not a jodie hater but do agree with what ppl are saying about jodie and i don't want chantelle to loose votes just cos of jodie as she is a lovely girl but I think the way pete michael and george are acting is making my blood boil dennis was doing it the right way.Michael now is playing the "victim" which i did think he was better than that and as he was pointing his finger at jodie the other night accusing her of the same thing.I think michael and pete are playing red rag to a bull and they are playing the role as a bully.I thought what michael did to chantelle tonight was out of order theres a right way to deal with things, and yet pete can tell ppl to f-off which i found disgraceful as michael was banging on about the way he was spoken too.If they acted like adults and just got on with things then chantelle wouldn't have felt piggy in the middle between certain ppl.

Certain behaviour is just out of order and telling someone to shut up qualifies. Barrymore is a complete weirdo and I think he has a problem with women. He tell Chantel to "shut up" and then gets all stroppy and eventually goes off to cry in front of the cameras...

the guy is clearly disturbed..

Gallaway has revealed his true colours also referring to Chantel as a child?? Shes 22 years old and entitled to her opinion and her say...I'd like to buy Galaway a one way ticket back to Iraq....
