I heard he's trying to get Simon Cowell, Corrie, Big Brother, Top of the Pops and Panorama :joker: I think he's aiming a bit high there, he will probably get Big Brother though, at least I hope he does

Then buy Big Brother in late 2011 so we all know it's coming back, then air Big Brother 12 in July 2012.

ITV wouldnt give it up, it's the most sought after TV slot for advertising :p (though when X Factor and BGT are on that changes) Corrie's been running nearly as long as ITV, and is it's flagship show, it'd be like BBC giving Five, Dr. Who or EastEnders :p

A new name will 100% help it, people will laugh at Five like they do now and won't give it the time of day but if he can revamp it and give it a new name it'll be great.

I think it'll be a breakthrough. Having it as Channel 5 will make it the new C4, and hopefully a brilliant home for Big Brother and Top of the Pops. I'm excited to see what happens.
