A boxer should not be afraid of potatoes. One of the most important foods, and one of the healthiest.
Maybe he meant before they're cooked when they look like lil' aliens.

He's afraid of them because they are his intellectual superior. He was once outwitted by a Jersey Royal.

He'll probably state his reasons on LF or the main show. People have phobias of all kind of silly things. I have a phobia of ketchup.

You might well think that; I couldn't possibly comment.

Really, I know i'm being noisy but can i ask why. Any particular brand or just ketchup in general. How about a squashed tomato.
You weren't sodomized by a gay tomato by any chance, were you?

Oh naturally... I mean, it's not like it was a more hetero spud, like, say, a King Edward.

Ha. Heavens, no lol. I must have repressed a deep dark secret but as long as I can remember I've never liked the taste, smell, texture, density or anything and since then people have literally chased me with bottles of ketchup for their own personal amusement which has made me more fearful lol. The little b@stards.
EDIT: And a tomato itself is just vile. I can laugh about it but if I'm doing the washing and there's a splodge of tomato or ketchup I wince and wash it seperately

thats it, ive dialled 999, this conversation has gone far enough. Do you realise how many root veg you have upset and belittled.
Potatoes are teh evol...deadly nighshade family
Potatoes contain toxic compounds known as glycoalkaloids, of which the most prevalent are solanine and chaconine. Solanine is also found in other plants in the family Solanaceae, which includes such plants as the deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna), henbane (Hyoscyamus niger) and tobacco (Nicotiana) as well as the potato, eggplant, and tomato. This poison affects the nervous system, causing weakness and confusion.
