Laura has been dishing the dirt on John to Josie, telling Josie what John has been saying in the diary room that contradicts what he has been saying to Josie's face. And then John has the cheek to say to Laura that she has made his relationship with Josie 'awkward' (translates to, John doesn't like being shown to be a two faced liar to Josie).
