View Full Version : John James "I love you Jose"

Now he's had the heads up that the fauxmance is a huge talking point outside the house, and that he's favourite to win, JJ1 has gone into the final phase of his game plan. The self appointed arbiter of truth and honesty told a great big porker when he said that he had not said, in the diary room, that he did not think of Josie in that way. He told Josie it was weeks ago, but in fact it was just a day or so ago.
Now suddenly he has decided to declare his love? Well call me cynical, but it sure is coincidental that he says that just after Laura has spilled the beans!
They used to say i love you to each other all of the time when John was in his own bed.

I don't think it's cynical to question why he said what he said and, more importantly, the time he chose to say it. It all seems terribly contrived and convenient.
It made me want to vomit!!

I think her reaction would imply that Josie perceived this differently.

I didn't know that, is this just a bit of opportunistic editing then?
I'm dumbfounded that he said that so soon after sneaking off to the DR to profess his non-attraction to her. :conf:

I believe that may well be how HE means it, but I don't think it's the way it's received by Josie, and I think it's really cruel of him to keep on giving her these mixed signals - he knows exactly what he's doing. She obviously does have romantic feelings for him, he knows that and still he reels her in.

Exactly. He knows exactly what he's playing at, especially now that he's had confirmation from JJ2 and Laura that their fauxmance is popular with the public. Remember this is a guy who has studied BB for years. He now has his eye on the end game.

Unfortunately for Josie, I think her wishful thinking is the basis of the relationship, with a tinge of Oedipus complex from JJ.

Don't you mean an Electra complex? (okay Electra is female, but it describes JJ more closely)

Funny how last year Noirin got absolutely slaughtered for saying the same thing to Siavash and playing him along. Typical sickening double standards because its a young "fit" guy instead.

Yes, I agree that is probably a part of it! Although they are the same age - she not only looks older, but appears a lot older than him - I think there is definitely a motherly, security blanket thing going on with him!

The way I saw it was he said he loves her, that doesn't mean the same as in love with her.
It can be very lonely in there at times so to find a soul mate and really get close to each other can be love, like he said in the past he looks at her like a sister. Is that a bad thing:conf:

Exactly, and yet he has the nerve to call people like Ben and Corin gameplayers and wanting to win, well no offence isn't that the whole point of being in the BB house, to try and win or the magazine deals out of a fake romance. Poor Josie who can't even see that he is taking her for a ride and i really hope that John James doesn't win, he doesn't deserve it, he has been so nasty throughout the series and has got away with it coz of his good looks, im sick of him, hope he goes very soon, then at least we can get more airtime for all the other hms and not just a fake romance 24/7.

He denied saying that and so now is concerned that Josie who he feels he needs to win this will possibly pull away.So out comes the I love you Jose line, either he has massive problems with his state of mind OR he is a compulsive liar, either way the best thing to happen is that BB accepts his next request to leave the house or somehow he is up for eviction. He had me fooled and even feeling sorry for him a bit too, no more though.I just wish Josie would put 2 and 2 together and see it now as well.

Very much so. You can tell the way he has changed that he knows he is favourite.
It is only days since he said he did not fancy her. If they get together to win the show it will not last as long as Luke and Bex. Luke is now claiming Bex never loved him, well why would she. Same with John James. Josie is not his type and she wont be either when he gets out.

Well on live feed he has just told her to get off him. He asked JJ is he knew a song called stressed. Meaning Josie was stressing him out.
Then she started sucking her thumb and looking all worried. Then had another go at conversation. But he wants to sleep and he has not said he loves her tonight. But she is still waiting.

Seems JJ1 is following my "rough guide to winning" to the letter. He really really really wants to win, and his behaviour with Josie is manipulative beyond belief. She has told him she thinks of him in a romantic way, and NOT as a brother and sister, and he bloody well knows it. So why is he leading her on FFS? Laura told Josie what he said in the diary room, and he completely lied to Josie about the actual conversation. The "brother and sister" speech in the diary room was much earlier.
On Tuesday night in the bedroom JJ and Josie have been talking for 2 hours and 57 minutes
Josie: "You have not got feelings for me, I've got feelings for you"
JJ: "Do you?"
Josie: "Yeah"
JJ: "What kind of feelings?"
Josie: "I can't really explain it"
JJ: "Tell me, tell me"
Josie: "About what?"
JJ: "About the situation"
Josie: "You're my friend, I'm your friend that's that.
"Like, alright. When you were in the task room."
JJ: "Yeah"
Josie: "I couldn't wait to get you out of there, I couldn't wait, hated it, I hated it.
Say if I haven't seen you, say if I haven't seen you all day, then later when I find you
again I get like butterflies a little bit"
JJ: "How do you know if they're real?"
Josie: "Dunno, nothing's real in here is it?"
JJ: "I don't know".
Josie: "I've made a bit of a prat out of myself while I've been here..."
JJ: "No you haven't, why have you?"
Josie: "Oh my god it's just, John I said to Caoimhe, I said I think I really do like John and then
you came out from the task room and I couldn't even bloody look at you because I was like
I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me...."
JJ: "you wanted what?"
Josie: "I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me, I wanted to get out of here. I couldn't hardly talk
to you, I couldn't even look you in the eye, and I was like a bag of nerves, I were like shaking. That's
what I mean I wanted, like I wanted to get out of here. I was more nervous at how you would react really.
JJ: "How I would react?"
Josie: "Probably the worst case scenario would be you'd probably look at me in disgust and not wanna hang around me.
JJ: "Why didn't you ever discuss it?"
Josie: "Because we're friends, I don't think "oh yeah", and have sex with you and stuff like that, I just love being
around you".
On Tuesday night in the diary room:
BB: "Hello John James"
JJ: "Just the whole me and Josie thing going on. She's told me she may have
feelings for me and I'm not sure how to deal with the situation. But I guess
you could say I have got feelings for her too because obviously I was worried
about being in the house if I was not talking to her so I guess I have got
feelings, but I'm not attracted to her, like I don't have those feelings. I've
never looked at her like that.
It puts me in a difficult situation, where I could, like, be accused of leading
someone on. She's embarrassed enough as it is. I care about her too much to
risk upsetting her."
BB: "How do you plan to deal with the situation with Josie?"
JJ: "To leave the Big Brother House"
BB: "John James, why do you think you need to take that action?"
JJ: "Because I'm not sure what else to do.
BB: "Big Brother suggests that you don't make any rash decisions until you have
spoken to Josie and see how your morning pans out. In the meantime Big
Brother suggests that you get some sleep".
JJ: "Alright. I guess I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and sort of suss out
the situation, I guess".
BB: "John James, Josie is your friend and Big Brother is sure you can sort this
out together".
JJ: "Yes, you're right, I will suss out the situation though, but it's *****ing hard
though, really hard".
Got to hand it to him, this is one master game player and it's working a treat. Since the newbies have come in, he has "sussed the situation" and has now upped his game. Can't stand Josie, but I'm actually now feeling sorry for her.

John James has said, on camera, that he has made a study of the various series of BB on Austra;ian, American and UK TV, you might call him the perfect strategist! He kmows all the correct buttons to push to get the viewer reaction that he needs in order to win and it looks like it is paying off!!

So how do you think she's going to feel when he dumps her after the show? There is absolutely no way he sees her as a girlfriend, but his behaviour towards her in the house is designed to feed her hopes since she DOES have feelings for her.

This is what is the really telling point from a man who records his phone messages and keeps texts to make sure that no one is lying to him - then he tells a barefaced lie - if he is really that paranoid about people lying to him he must be a liar himself to even think that others would do that to him.

I don't actually give a toss about either of them, but some of us on this forum aren't dumb enough to believe that JJ has suddenly decided he lurves Josie three days after categorically telling the world he is not attracted to her. The only reason he has upped his game to full on seduction is because he has been told the fauxmance is creating interest on the outside, and he has his beady little crab eyes on the mag deals which he will milk for all they're worth before dumping the sad cow and heading back to mummy in oZ.

When you start using people and messing with their heads then you're playing a very nasty game. If he doesn't fancy Josie that way then he is behaving shamefully. How can anybody not see he's leading her on? Especially since she has now told him how she feels.
