I dont think some of Andrews behaviour portrays the sensitive/shy/nerdy character he makes out.For someone who has 'few' friends as he implied when he first came in the house he has got quite bitchy and nasty, something you dont see in people that have been on the other side of the coin like he makes out he has..
I somehow do not trust him and I think his game is starting to show.Remember Eugene... A true geek...but Andrew is play-acting IMO and I dont fall for his game...does anyone agree??

I loved Andrew when he first went in, he was so sweet, but now I see the other side of him, and I not like it. Gone right off him.

Maybe people dont give him a chance on the outside to get to know him, whereas inside the house there are people?

I think he's becoming somewhat of a twat as of late.

He is just like Eugene, and only a few of us smart people can see through him.

I dont think some of Andrews behaviour portrays the shy character
Shy????
Anyone who goes to a BB audition is not shy.
Anyone who can sing in front of 1000 people and on 'live' TV is not shy.
Game plan?Oh yes.

So what if he has a game plan.
I doubt anyone goes in without one.
It is a GAMEshow

No it's not,it's a fame seeking show hence the most successful HM was not aBB winner.

I think people are upset he hasn't fit perfectly into the nerd box. He's clever, he's playing a game. Where's the controversy?
No, Andrew is a legend! He's by far one of the best housemates this series imo, he's giving us loads of entertainment.

Andy is one of the stars of the show so far. He seems to have a wicked sense of humour. And I think that if he was a shy person he wouldn't be on bb.

Its not a fame seeking show because you dont get famous off bb,
Its never created superstars.

his scenes with Josie are a little off. If they were both still just having a laugh it would be ok but the same "ooo I'm sooo hot for you" joke has been going on for an awkwardly long time.

Andrew definately has a dark side to him and this was shown in his bitching about Corin & Andrew Stone. He's also a little creepy with the ladies aswell.

I love Andrew more and more!
Pathetic how some don't understand that people can have different sides to them. Pardon him for not just being a one dimensional harmless nerd! Its called character.
And yes he is aware he's on a TV show thats for entertainment...because he is!

Quite the opposite for me. I didn't like him when he went in. I thought he was fake and insincere. Now he's standing up for himself. I loved his tirade against Andrew Stone. :D

Oh plz. I doubt any of the women in the house see him that way!
Just typical BB haters exaggerating his harmless comments. God forbid a geek should make any kind of sexual innuendos. How dare he!

Agree.
I thought he would be a little boring, I was wrong. His sly nature is really showing through, I just don't like it.
For someone who is shy, he certainly knows how to get close to the women. Look how he was talking to Caoimhe, and how he talks to Josie.
I thought he was funny when he told John James to lay off Josie, but again I question would someone who is supposed to be shy try that on ? Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm on the ball, either way I'm finding his personality quite ugly, he really does appear to be very sneaky.

Hes not as sweet as he would have us believe ,day 2 ,he tells someone (cant rememeber who) he has no mates ,no one ever makes friends with him ,no one likes him ,why would he do that ? No hes not for real ,he makes out hes this shy little geek yet went out onto the steps to sing in front of the crowd ,when musics played hes on the back of the sofas throwing himself all over the place ,no hes a player

He has never gone in there saying he is perfect. He is like all the hms in there he has a good and bad side to him. People are just disappointed that he isn't the shy quiet geek they thought he was. He has many human qualities thats normal and he isn't afraid to show them.
Unlike some trying to come across as nice.

He's a smart, horny teenage virgin boy. Thats all. And very funny.

Agree with the OP. He pissed me off straight away when he slagged Steve off as a pervy sheet sniffer of Keeley's bed. Will never forgive him for nomming Corin. You have to be a particulkarly nasty piece of work for finding someone's hopeless attempts to welcome you into the house annoying. She presumably tried her best thinking he was a nerd lost and she does tend to mother the underdog, but then she gets kicked in the teeth for it.

Nope. I think Andrew's great. Don't get the "bitchy, nasty" thing at all. He can stand up for himself and hold his own in a conversation, but that's not the same thing. I think he shows a vulnerability that is endearing, while at the same time has a very dry sense of humour more mature than his 19 years.

Well Im Corins biggest fan round here and I dont have a problem with him for that. He had to choose somebody and I can see how her line of chat might have been too limited for him at that point. But now he gets on better with her. He certainly doesnt dislike her.
He's only 19 too so he's gonna be tactless at some points.

Some people get so spiteful on here... I opened a discussion on observations.I know people have different sides to them... but for someone who pitifully cries he has no friends to get the big sympathy vote... and I did believe him. Then goes on to be quite cruel to people who have done nothing wrong to him.... it doesnt add up.

Makes it worse IMO when you get cruel about the one person who went out of their way to form a welcoming party(Corin) on your arrival. definitely not the most tolerant individual,

Ive never even heard him say he has no friends and I certainly don't sympathise with him. I just like his personality; he's awkward and confident at the same time. He also shows sparks of great humour and constantly surprises with his funny lines AND, yes, bitchy asides.
In short, he's unpredictable. I likey. And he hasn't been cruel or nasty to anybody so what the hell are you talking about?

It seems that you want him to remain lacking in confidence, humble and subservient - and if he has the audacity to gain some confidence and come out of his shell and act like everyone else - you want to knock him down again - as if he has no right! Why?

Just to be clear, everbody but Corin. Difficult to pin her down for bitching, but appearently she is guilty for listening with her Gob wide open, well if you hate Corin that is.
