View Full Version : Some CBB Thoughts

Hey
Just thought I'd write a few of my thoughts down here to see if anyone agrees with me, instead of me shouting at the TV every night whilst watching CBB.
1.) Can anyone honestly say that Jodie Marsh is wicked or evil? Ok, she may be quite annoying and her regular sex talk is annoying but she really isn't an evil person.
2.) How old, really, are George, Michael and Pete. Apparently they're in their 40s, 50s and 60s, but to me they act like they are 14 year old girls picking on another girl to feel better about themselves. Grow up.
3.)The "gang" or "bitches of eastwick" as they are being called, are saying to Jodie all the time to "shut up and listen" and accuse her of things. Whenever she tries to answer or stick up for herself she is shouted down by them. Is that a democratic society George is constantly going on about, where everyone deserves to give their point of view.
4.) Jodie never called meat eaters murderers, george put the words into her mouth then shouted at her for no reason.
5.) In that late nite convo, between michael pete and jodie they had a go at her for where she was sitting because it was in front of a camera. Erm there are hundreds of cameras in the house pete! should jodie have sat on the loo and shouted back her answers to you?
6.) They're always saying how Jodies taking chantelle away from them. a) chantelle is a grown woman, and can decide for herself who to spend time with b.) they are both from essex and have the same interests and c) george is a bl**dy hypocrite because how many times do he and Rula go off on they're own!!
7.) Michael. He says he wants to make a comeback - well stop bl**dy crying, feeling sorry for yourself! The whole body in the pool thing - whether or not he had anything to do with it, fact is he ran. He avoided answering any questions, didnt call an ambulance and didnt even return from nz for his wifes funeral. The fact that he's not sleeping in the house, i believe has nothing to do with not wanting to wake the others with his snoring. To me, it says guilty conscience.
8.) Pete having a go at Jodie for using sob stories, such as her dad being ill and getting booed. a.) she did not say her dad was seriously ill, she meant that he was ill on the day of her entrance to the house and so could not see her off. b.) getting booed is upsetting for anyone. The fact that michael was estatic that he was not booed, shows that had he have been booed he'd have been crying. c.) Pete is forever using sob stories of his own "i've never felt comfortable in my skin" on his tape b4 entering the house he said "people and media slated my lips when it was done, that really hurt" HYPOCRITE
9.) Preston has to be the most admirable member of the house. He needs to win
and finally 10.) Pete said to Jodie that she went on there to earn money. Yeah she did, but they ALL HAVE!!!! Ok, they may not get money from fees (although they prob do) they all want to revive their "careers" get magazine deals - hence they'd earn money!
Thanks for listening all! I feel a lot better!!!

I don't dislike Preston, he's probably the nicest bloke in there though, along with Maggot.
Just be careful not to like Jodie too much, there are some sensitive people around here who can't stand her (probably scared she'll nick there boyfriends :joker: )
Nah, most are okay

I don't know why its so hard for the house mates to be at least civil to jodie. Its not like shes killed anyone. I'm not afraid to say that although jodie is brash, and talks to much about sex (although i think she does that more to shock rather than to offend) i think deep down she's an ok person. She may have spoken nastly about jordan, but whos to say that jordan would never have said the same about jodie had it been the other way around? I think jodie has not been nasty to anyone in the house, all she has done is stated her opinion on fur coats, talk about sex and get upset because people are nasty to her. Is that a crime?? If running away from a crime scene a al michael is not a crime, then i don't know what is

One thing to remember, is that the British are light years behind the rest of Europe. Sex is still a dirty word.
But yes, it is all talk.
Jordan has said some pretty nasty things down the years and I believe she started the whole Jordan/Jodie thing.
Nothing wrong with Jodie, she needs to not get so angry all the time and think before she speaks, but i'd say that of anyone. Their are far worse people than Jodie Marsh, she is no reason to get upset for anyone.

I agree with what you said although i must me honest in saying i don't feel sorry for jodie as some of it she has brought on her self and she does seem to use ppl, i don't hate her but i'm not a fan of her either but the others are starting to wind me up and i do the same shout at the tv they are bad as each other and come on why has michael returned to get back in the public eye he found BB a good opportunity to make his come back but all he is doing is making himself look silly in my opinion the same with pete and george they just want publicity.
I thought they should have known better than to keep arguements going most sensible ppl would just get on with their on things and still be polite to make the atmosphere more bearable as it's effecting other ppl around them. It's funny how they have their opinion on jodie but soon as someone says something against them michael goes of whimpering and pete goes off bitchin'.
If I didn't like someone i would still try to be polite to them but wouldn't hold a convo with them so it was a better atmosphere for other ppl.
I've also noticed they criticise others for going off but they also stick to their chums.

1.No she is not Wicked oer Evil.
2.56,54 and 46,yes they are acting a bit childish, but weirdly this is in reaction to Jodie wanting to distance herself from the 'oldies'.She did a lot to cause disharmony in the group from Sunday through to Tuesday.
3.True.They could handle this situation better.
4.She is guilty of arguing the whole fur thing very naively for a member of PETA.
5.It was Barrymore that pointed this out and your right it was ridiculous.
6.Chantelle and Jodie would both do well to try and intergrate more.Chantelle does seem to do this when not being led off by Jodie.I think they are frustrated that as a new 'celeb' she could learn a lot and come across a lot better if she intergrated.
7.Very tricky.I wouldnt know if Michael is still thinking of that.Thing is he ain't guilty in the eyes of the law.
I think he worries more about his own persona in regards how the public are viewing him.His crying is definately not a show and he does usaully try to hide it.
8.She did start to use her Dad as an excuse for her behaviour.
I was suprised that she heard that many boo's.Her reception seemed ok.
9.Possibly.A bit boring though.
10.Yep its all about the exposure and money.Has to be.

you've never shouted at the tv?!! I guess you are more mentally stable than me then!!! then again anyones more mentally stable than some of the people in that house!!!
On the phone to my mum last night, we came up with the conclusion that pete looks like two famous people. 1.) One jack nicholson in batman as the joker!! 2.) the murderer in silence of the lambs - the one who cuts womens skin off to become a woman himself!! i think they're pretty accurate comparisons, u?!!!
I would love it if jodie won, not because i want her to, just to thoroughly p*** off the others!! Then again, if i was jodie in that house, i'd walk out. she doesnt need that kind of treatment, and she'd be better off making money by posing for fhm.
I wonder if they get booed tomorrow night. i reckon when davina reads their names out, they'll all get booed and michael will get scared cos he'll know the public dont agree with the bitches of eastwicks behaviour. I've never wanted to stay in on a fri night as much as i do tomorrow!!! :joker:

I cant say i agree with u on those points, i think that chantelle is bound to stick with someone who doesnt talk down to her, and has the same views and opinions as her. come on if you were a young girl in the house, who would you stick with? a 50 odd year old cross dresser, a 55 year old man that cries ALL the time, or a man that perves over you all the time? hmmmm tricky one!!
I don't think she should have brought up her dad, however how many times have the others gone for the sympathy vote?
Thanks for your comments though!! Its nice to have someone to discuss with!!!!
I think michaels crying is to gain sympathy vote. he NEVER hides it, when ever i switch on he's crying. sitting out in the garden crying is just ASKING for attention to be brought to it.

Yep.I can see that Chantelle would take Jodie as her besty in there. But there was a point where Jodie was moaning that the other HM's were old and boring and really creating a divide that has just got worse.
Preston and Maggott are similar ages and they have mixed ok.
Its good that they have formed a friendship, just a bit too exclusive for the others to tolerate in the house.
bex_0614
12-01-2006, 03:00 PM
what about the exclusive friendship george and rula have formed? or pete and michael?
stoney12
12-01-2006, 03:04 PM
I think thats the point.they spend a lot of time together,as you would pick out a favourite I guess. But have done it without isolating themselves from the rest of the house.
bex_0614
12-01-2006, 03:07 PM
but i don't think she's isolated herself, it's the other way around. I think Jodie could do EVERYTHING to get back in the group, but the ringleaders (aka george michael and pete) would pick a fight and isolate her again.
stoney12
12-01-2006, 03:19 PM
I have seen it from a different point of view to you then Bex.
From sunday through to Tuesday she was acting like she couldnt be bothered with anyone over the age of thirty (apart from Rodman). She befriended Chantelle...fine but did it in a way that insunated they were the only two vibrant members with any thing to offer (sexuality ?) in the house.
Booze and lack of sleep have not helped the situation, admittedly. But the others HM's just got frustrated with their behaviour.
I don't agree with the so-called bullying that pete et al have been accused of (Though I think it has been blown out of proportion). But every other HM in that house has agreed that Jodie has been a nightmare in the last few days.
bex_0614
12-01-2006, 03:26 PM
i think she has a right to be a nightmare after the way she's been treated though! To be called a wicked evil bitch is not something that would make anyone be a pleasure to live with.
I think we've percieved it in different ways!!! What i saw, was on the first night in there, george and rula going off on their own, and jodie sitting down to talk with pete. Then pete walking away less than a few mins after jodie sat down. I think they didnt even try to get to know her. I don't think the girls an angel, but she's done no real harm other than to stick up for herself. I think the real mixer in the house is george. he tries to cause upset by twisting other peoples words. george has now turned on preston (who i think has tried to bring the group together and mixes with everyone) so wheres the logic in that? I think george knows the people more likely to win and is playing a big game and trying to turn house against them. anyone who says barrymore should win purely because of his history, in my opinion, is the lowest of the low. and any 55 year old man that cries just because a 20 year old girl answers back, either has serious issues, or is playing for the sympathy vote in order not to be nominated by his HMs

People love a person to hate though.
It's not her fault her haters are all munters :joker:
I was really shocked when George told Jodie she was an evil person - this man is a friend of Saddam! Jodie's not evil - a bit mixed up and self involved maybe, but who's perfect? Certainly none of the other housemates. I'm not a particular fan of Jodie, and I doubt she and I would get on particularly well, but she's not a nasty person, and apart from Rula, none of the gang of four (George, Michael, Rula and Pete) have made any effort to get on with Jodie at all.
It's six of one and half a dozen of the other in a way - Jodie was very dismissive of the older housemates at first; but I do think they have been very unfair to her over the past few days. And George, Michael and Pete are proving to us all that maturity does not necessarily come with age.

Jodie and Chantelle are both evil slappers and highlight the problem of what is wrong with today's youth. They can barely speak, they make Vicky Pollard look classy, and they are just a pair of boozy, undisciplined slappers.
The only normal person in the house is Faria mainly because she isn't really a celebrity anyway.
All of them have enormous faults this year and the show as usual is designed to play these off against each other for entertainment.
I wouldn't want any of them in my house except for Traci but that's purely for sinister reasons.

Jodie and Chantelle arnt slappers.... What is ok for Dennis to hound every young girl in the house but because those two have opinions and arnt afraid to voice them they get called slapper?????
I think BB have chosen lots of big egos this year and you cant have too many of those without an explosion!

i think thats a very small minded comment to make calling them evil slappers. Ok, jodie may be a bit of a tart sometimes, but she's not evil and I can think of people far nastier than her. Its also a bit silly to call someone you dont know such a chantelle a slapper. What annoys me is that if a girl is sexually provocative, or sleeps with a married/partnered man she is instantly called a slapper. However, should it be the other way around, such as dennis perving over every girl and boasting that hes slept with hundreds of women, or a married man that has an affair, they are not treated nearly as badly as the girl. You say you like traci (i can guess your reasons) but whos to say she hasnt slept with more men than jodie? Just because jodie is a little immature and voices her sexual encounters to others, doesn't make her a slapper.
Quadrofiend
13-01-2006, 12:02 PM
Jodie's common, foul mouthed, inarticulate, drunken raving and numurous "glamour" photo sessions make her very much a slapper. Birds of a feather flock together and if Chantelle thinks Jodie is someone she wants to be like, then she deserves to be tarred with the same brush... to mix a couple of metaphors there.
Of course Dennis would crack on to every bird in the house, that's what us men do. We always look for the best thing around in such a situation... it's just natural human behaviour. Do I condone his behaviour? Of course I do. At least he isn't queer.
Jodie however is one of these awful "ladette" creatures who thinks behaving like a man, and in particular a "Men Behaving Badly" type man, is acceptable. It isn't even for men! She needs to grow up or stop trying to be a celebrity. There's a big difference between being a celebrity and being famous. She is the latter and not for any good reasons.

What is fun about anything Jodie Marsh has done? Just look at the state of her and see how how everthing has a consequence.
As for being gay, there is a lot wrong with it but that's for another forum, it doesn't have much to do with CBB, and I'll get censored before it can get good. They should perhaps be called Glums cause I haven't met a happy one yet. Personally I don't care what people do with their bits though.
Big Brother in general does have a huge gay following due to the nature of most of the contestants. BB6 was over 70% gay. Alienation of viewers due to excessive gayness is where I'll leave this thread.
Gender swapping however would be a good subject to continue with: Pete looks like a woman but behaves like a man and Jodie looks like a woman (sort of) but behaves like a gay man too... they should have more in common.
