They are enormous because she is enormous.when she lay's down on the grass everyone else has to sit on chairs because there's no room.

Her thumb must be sausage shaped and stunted by now after being constantly sucked for 20+ years .. this childish habit is also damaging her top front teeth .. which is a shame as Josie has really lovely teeth .. but she'll end up goofy with buck teeth if she's doesn't quit sucking that thumb of hers.
