But I have to agree with the guy, I'm not at all fond of michael...

Not much there yet, I personally think the press and public are too hard on Barrymore.

I don't think they're hard enough.

He's washed up, slurring words (like the blog says), constant nagging at the younger ones, just annoys me.

His slurring words are not his fault, he had a big problem...he is an alcoholic and always will be. Not touching the drink will be hard for him but he is doing it well. The papers want to ruin him but most of the public like him. The papers are doing everything they can do make people dislike him but alot of the public still like him.

The slurring words arent his fault?

Err yes they are, he himself chose to abuse drink/drugs.

Yeah i've noticed that. I was reading the sun yesterday at work and all they try to do is get people to dislike him which i dont think is working because people still like him, i know i do.

Everyone has problems and makes mistakes, his was drinking. He is seeking help and getting over that and the press just want to ruin him all over again. What do you want him to do just stay quite because he slurs his words?

More than anything I have respect for him because he has admitted he has had issues and he seeked help for that and that is a great way for other people will issues, either in drink/drugs or anything can look up to him as a support.

I have not glanced at any paper which supports barrymore, one after the other is slating him to pieces which is really unfair. I dont think alot of people like to give him the time of day because all the things in the papers they start to believe.

Im not saying he is perfect or he should win the show but all the press on him and some peoples perceptions of him are really harsh, considering what he has had to deal with in the past and the fact he has not given up the chance to come back to the Uk is a good sign. He is a very determined man as far as I can see.

I think some of his comments about Jodie have been a little unfair but I think he genuinely wants her to admit she has some issues and seek help like he has/is doing.

Not at all, but he needs to learn that it's hard to take him seriously when all I (personally) can think about is how silly he sounds and it's all his fault.

And his demand for respect, dear god. He sounds like an old drunk man, you know, the ones that are trying to tell you a story, you interupt for a second and they blab on about "youve got to listen! just listen to me! dont talk, just listen!" etc.

He treats chentelle like a child

I think he has accepeted chantelle for who she is. Out of all the celebs I think he was one of the ones who havent changed towards her at all. I would agree that is isnt his time to get a show back on tv as his words are hard to distinguish alot of the time but i do think he does have a future either on tv or behind the camera, He did state he would be equally as happy being the scenes rather than presenting a show.

if people hate barrymore that much, why waste time making a site about it?........

Well therefore he shouldn't be in the house! The others shouldn't have to suffer his moodswings!
