Why would producers even put someone like Laura on the shortlist?

It's really annoying the some people are saying that the housemates had the choice of who they wanted in the house, yes they did.......but why on earth was Laura on the short list? She's really boring, average looking and wants to leave after 3 days. Out of all the hundreds of thousands of people desperate to get on....why was she shortlisted???????

She's a loooooooser, she must have gone through months and month of auditions, she was spoken to by councellors, telling her how hard it would be, sh'e a total dick!

...but channel 4 are even worse for shortlisting her....but that fat black guy in, he looks like he would stir things up a notch! x
