I have a spiral staircase so it doesnt really work but whenever I had a suitcase I used to pretend I was going into the house (like they did BB3/4)
note: I was about 10 at the time.

I don't plan it, I just do it when I NEED to go up the stairs, it enriches the experience.

I'm sure it does. I will try it the next time when I need to turn my trip up the stairs that bit more excitable.

I usually do this when I'm getting a bus.
I literally stand in front of the bus doors when theres no one else there because I get on at the first stop and I just sing to myself 'Do Do Dooo Dooo' like the little drum beats.
And then when the doors open I just walk on the bus all epic expecting to hear cheers :(
But I'm going to try your idea too :D

Only at my friends old place. She had very BB style steps and I MUST say this: I wasn't pretending, I genuinely felt like a new housemate going in every time I walked down them.

Shame you got relegated with about 2 points, and I wouldn't say losing out in the penalties after coming back from 2-0 down was too bad so... FAIL.

:joker::joker::joker: This thread has me in stitches, you funny beggars.
It takes me three attempts to get up my stairs with all the stopping and starting, I fullyintend to think of this thread in future. No doubt the hubby will have me certified for laughing on the stairs for no apparent reason.:joker:
