It makes her look older, is not good for her overall health and will never get her the JJs of this world, if that is what she wants! I think you've got the wrong end of the stick! I think John James making a bee line for the exit without any warning put her in an awkward position. She was obviously very embarrassed. She was aware of being observed and had to contain her emotions. She didn't act logically because she's emotionally involved. I think she does care and if you watched the live feed she was kind to him when they had a chance to speak privately (under the duvet - the only privacy available to them). It's apparent that she adores John James and would never hurt him.
