View Full Version : Is anyone else fed up of this?

Whenever someone does something funny or interesting, the FIRST thing anyone says is "He/She's on a secret task/Tree of Temptation...."

Like, why can't someone be doing something for the sheer fun of it, to alleviate boredom and not mope about the house like the rest of them?

Ben and Steve are the worst for this, since Mario is acting a bit strange at the moment, as if he's a robot.

It does my head in too but tbh using the ToT in this series was always going to create this sort of reaction to spontaneity.

a Pervy Robot?
ya I tend to feel the same. Its like no one can do anything remotley amusing or whatever out of sheer boredom. It has to be a task of some sort.

I can be quite hyperactive at times, and I know I'd get really annoyed if people accused me of faking it for a task rather than being hyper from various other reasons.

There is more to people's behaviour than that they have been told to behave so by a producer!

I agree. I hate it when people jump to be the first to say 'he's on a task'. Just leave ego aside and give the taskee a good chance at winning/let them act up. I've never really liked the TOT- just have a very infrequent secret task and really try to catch people offguard. That's made great tv in the past.

I bet when Steve gets out he'll find himself unconsciously yelling "It's a task" at his kids.

Scrap the tree. And yeah it's annoying how they're trying to catch people out all the time.

Steve is the worst.

It's pretty thick really, generally the tasks are to win a reward and if the task is discovered they lose the treat.

So by shouting at the top of his voice that everything is a task, Steve risks screwing everything up.

He just can't help himself though.
