Highlight show fans better than LF losers?

quite the opposite the HL tramps can happily sit in ignorance of what is really happening in the house basing their opinions on the little bits and pieces that they are spoon fed to them. its like bb for simpletons watching HL shows only is almost like not watching the show at all.

The editing in the HL show is only the tip of the iceberg as to what really goes on. You do see some footage on the HL that we do not see on LF as well, so a good balance is to watch both..even if it makes you both a loser and a tramp:joker::joker:

Or perhaps those watch LF see the housemates the way they are, whereas those who watch the HL see only what the producers and editors want us to see. Therefore the perceptions of those who watch LF may be at odds with those who only watch HL.

Lots of people who watch LF also watch HL shows.

Wow... I usually agree with you, but it's a bit harsh to damn everyone as spoon-fed simpletons because they don't spend their whole life on their ar5e in front of the telly. I have a demanding job and a life. I only get to watch the highlights. Having read quite a lot of the rubbish that's posted on here I have to say the more juvenile, inflamatory and incoherent arguments normally come from the all-day-and-all-nighters.

Edit : for instance, I've seen Steve freak out at housemates, and perv on some of the girls.. but yet in the HL shows you never actually see that.. hmm :laugh:

You don't get to see any diary room stuff on LF, they interrupt the sound constantly and they can't possibly show you all of the housemates at the same time so no one ever has the full picture of what's going on.

And just because you get to see the diary room cuts on the HL shows, doesn't mean your getting the full picture. big brother edits shows to coincide with views from the outside world. or if big brother wants a housemate out or disliked more they usually do a couple runs of a bad HL show for them.. its all edited..

I dont bother with LF at all. Too much cutting between different convos and stupid muting. No thanks just winds you up.

I swear the director deliberately annoys the audience. They should be sacked whoever they are.

Its the HL show that dictates the voting so thats really what matters ultimately.

It's good to watch the HL to see the DR (or the bits they want you to see) and also to see the stories the producers are showing the HL public the way they want to show them - voting often follows the HL's version of reality. If you want the best opportunity to know what's really going on in the house watch the LF - but even then it is an edited "on the fly" version of real events - for example LF often cuts to boring **** when something beefy is going on then cuts back afterwards.

Yes, and I understand all that. I get the principle of editing and the fact that they favour one housemate over another sometimes. I am not a gullible person. Plus I look at the forum here and other people who may be watching LF discuss stuff and you get to know what's happening (some of the LF watching FMs are interesting and well-balanced, I find). It isn't possible for everyone to watch live feed. This stupid apartheid of LF v HL viewers gets on my chest, to be honest.

Yea i get that people cant all watch LF so they watch the HL, but i just hate being told that " I'm " not seeing the full show, when i watch both, and some people just narrowly believing the HL shows which are edited to **** :laugh:

The overly obsessive fans are the worst... they seem to have tunnel vision due to their whole BB revolving around the person they are overly obsessive about... to the point where they will manupulate and twist situations to try to make their #1 favourite look like they are always in the right. Then overtly attack people who dare to voice an opinion that differs from theirs.

I watch LF stuff on the internet (just the specials that are linked to on BBLB) and HL. I have found that they are sometimes VERY picky about what goes on the HL show. They chopped out a 10 sec bit of the john James escape, and i was actually quite annoyed about it because it showed something in him i hadn't seen before. The way he looked at Josie near the diary room looked like a true longing, but that was chopped out.

I think that there are more HL show watchers than LF though obviously and i think they have a tendency to be more accepting. LF people get very worked up about people. And LF people often watch it to find parts of their favourite character in order to justify bad aspects of their favourite characters.
