Plenty of folk have sex with people that don't necessarily turn them on. The 'sex partner' is nothing more than a vessel. The other person uses their imagination, imagines the sex partner as something or someone else: the turn on process can be brought about by thoughts not of the person they are having sex with, but by the thought that the sex partner is someone else.
