View Full Version : Is it just me or is BB making a mess of it's own task rules???

As I'd understood it, thr rules specify that HMs are permitted to talk about and acknowlege 'the obvious' whilst in DR.

On that basis, Mario could easily have turned to Santa then talked freely to his grandad when realised it was him (using the pretence his chats were actually to BB), and Corin the Cretin could have said anything she wanted about the pieman.

It seems daft having interventions in the DR where the ignore rules don't apply.

I was surprised at first but then Big Brother loves twisting things...and we need twists ! No more rules. Rules have killed this year's series and the show in its entirety.

I think they figure that the housemates will fail so it doesn't really matter about the rules, and I have to agree. Absolutely hilarious task though.

11 fails in the first 11 minutes doesn't bode well right enough!

I think they're going to pass the task. When they said they'd had about 25 fails on HL show last night I was amazed. BB seem to be letting lots go.

No viewer could even hope to keep count anyway I suppose, so BB will just invent a number of fails off the top of their heads!

Can't see them witholding messages from home, and risk more walkouts!

You are right, surely Mario could have also acknowledged it was he Grandad in the DR too? As he was in the DR.

Also when Corin was in the DR she could have acknowledged she was being pie'd in the face, as she was in the DR room.

It was when they got out of the DR they weren't allowed to discuss anything.

Surely they cannot pass that task, Dave started whistling to the Trumpets, Andrew jumped in the shower with his socks on, playing ball around the house buyers, ran in the bedroom with the zombies....all a reaction to who was in the in the house, even if they wanted to pretend they did not see them, a reaction is a reaction.

We don't get access to the small print on the rules. :)

We did - they were on the laminate delivered by the postman - rewatch last night's HL and listen to them

I thought this as I was watching the highlights last night.

I reckon they (Corin & Mario) carried on the task in the diary room because they were in that *ignore* mode, they had forgotten the ruling about the diary room.

They were in the task mode and didn't realise this as they went into the diary room.

Clever BB. Perhaps they were playing games with them.
As it was in the DR, Mario could probably have spoken to his grandad, he just had to be bright enough to work it out. But as he had to ask BB afterwards if it was his grandad he had no chance. Same as Corin, she should have picked a pie up and chucked it at the pieman, hellsbells, he even did it himself at one point. Then again, I could be wrong:joker::joker:

It's BB playing mind games, it's what BB does best:D

So you think that there were only, what was it, 25 rule breaks in last nights show?

That's what I meant by 'small print'. They decide what counts and what doesn't.

BB producers have totally re-written the rules for this series and have totally ruined the series too.

They will already have decided if the Task will be passed or failed, so they're probably not even bothering to count.

They'll just pick a number that is lower than 88 and hey Presto!
