No he doesn't. What Dave shows is that faith is just faith and that doesn't stop anyone having fun.

And I should imagine being married to him would be a lot of fun! Certainly not boring! The fact that he has such an attractive wife - only shows he isn't exactly unpopular with the women! There are a lot on here fancy him too - because he is a real character! Never a dull day with him around!
