The Fire Alarms... Not Safe?

Last Night, Jedward entered the Big Brother house to perform their new single in the Garden. It was completed successfully. Jedward then headed to 'Skippy' and Josie and asked about their under-the-bed action. Big Brother told Jedward to leave, but it wasnt until the second time in which they left the house.
Jedward ran up the stairs to the doors above the Diary Room, however, in trying to find out how to open the doors, which would automatically open, they pressed the Fire Alarm button near the door. The whole house was on alert and every door in the Big Brother house opened.
Later that Night, the housemates heard a small sound coming from around them, which was the fire alarm. However, they remained still. That was where later that night Big Brother told the housemates to remain on the sofas.
This revealed that if the housemates can not hear the fire alarm, how would they know apart from Big Brother telling them?

Bloody hell jay "a small sound" haha do you watch the live feed??? obviously not they were moaning that it was driving them crazy and it was very loud but they were also told to ignore it this is after they were rounded up and told to remain in the bedroom while big brother corrected the problem.
