View Full Version : It was going pretty well... until the Jedward "performance"
For the first time I actually felt embarrassed about being a BB fan. Are they actually taking the piss out of us? Everything about it was awful. They really are the most annoying twats on the planet. All the boos should have given them a hint, but I find it hilarious that the only interest they can muster up is by performing on Big Brother, hahah.

Yeah Im still trying to decide whose most desperate; the BB producers or Louie Walsh!
Either way...just grateful theyve given up trying to sing live. Their music career is one big flopperoo. It just is.

That's exactly how I feel OP. As it's the last Big Brother I really expected more. Ive been disappointed with the show and the Jedward performance dragged the show down to a new low for me.

The way they shoved Andrew, very out of order. Disgusting out of control yobs with no talent.

Yeah, I thought they were nasty pieces of work on the X-Factor.

I'd love to know whose 'bright' idea it was - he/she should be sacked!

They're little rich boys who got lucky cos of the way they dress. They're a joke.

I thought most of the housemates showed remarkable restraint in the Ignore the Obvious task when Jedward were in the House. I know if I had been in the house while they were I wouldnt have been able to ignore them. I would have been throwing heavy objects, kitchen knifes and furniture at them.

I'd have preferred them just to give Sam a task or to see the end of the ignore task and to see them interacting and such.

And the fact they are twins! Novelty act - that's all!

I'm going to go out on a limb and surmise that Endemol may have done it to please their sponsors Freederm to attract their early teen consumer demographic.

The whole idea was to provide distractions that will provoke a response. Who would be the most annoying and hard to ignore musical act - Jedward
It was an inspired choice
The "oh i am too cool to enjoy Jedward" music snob routine in this thread is laughable

Interaction would have been even worse - they have no personalities and would have been in there longer - would have been excruciating! This way they did their little 5 minute act - then buggered off!

Too cool to enjoy Jedward? You think that not liking them makes someone a music snob? They mimed to along - badly - to a song that was orignally done by someone else. They can barely string a sentence together. Legends, eh?
Do you actually believe the rubbish you write here, or do you work really hard to take the alternative view?

I felt embarrassed watching every single episode of this series, it is literally CBBC.

Yes I can see how singing live would have been better....no hang on it wasnt a concert at the O2 it was a task in BB:xyxwave:
And my goodness they did not sing one of their own songs - oh the shame
I never said they were legends, just a great part of an excellent task
as i said, music snobbery:nono:

I meant BB giving Sam a task or just to watch Sam interacting with the HMs.
