What are some things about this forum that you either don't like, or annoy you? (and don't list members because that will get the thread locked).

Mine:

I find it annoying when either Take That or Robbie Williams are mentioned, and EVERY SINGLE TIME someone quotes that post and mentions something like "Oh wait until Princess sees this", "Princess won't like that", etc. Now don't get me wrong, I know she loves Take That and everything, but do people really need to go on about it every time something to do with Take That are mentioned...?

Next up:

I think there should be a thread that tells you what members are currently banned, and when their ban is over. There did used to be one of these but I don't think it has been used since around about the time I signed up.

Also people that come onto the forum and complain how boring it is, but yet 4 hours later they're still there, complaining. That really bugs me.

I dislike the vBulletin layout itself, its themes are poor and its not as well supported as some php programs. Its fairly limited in its add ons.

It would be good if an online spell checker could be integrated into the advanced reply system. Lets face it some people could really use it.

The server severely limits the board, however I do appreciate its best to change servers at the end of a current contract period.

I dislike people demanding to know why someone was banned. So a thread detailing reasons and punishments would be a good idea.

You never really see threads about what people like about forums. Always the negativity. I really hate people making lists about what they hate about forums as well as sometimes its seems they go on and on forever.

Well there are a few I like chatting to in there (and reading thier posts) but they don't seem to stick around off season. But I wouldn't mind which ones stayed. I think it'd be cool to have a bunch of new people around.

Now, this is not to get on the mods or Admins cases, because I don't envy their situation at all, but I do think that established members have far more breathing space when it involves possible rule breaks or bad behaviour, whereas new or unknown members seem to be pounced on for relatively minor infringements. It is however a very delicate and tricky scenario though.... I'm totally aware of that.

If you see everyones signature, try going into your user CP and then look for edit options under setting and option, scroll down the resulting page to the thread display options and remove the tick for displaying signatures.

..there has been some bad stuff on the forum in the last few years I know and people have been hurt by that and bans were given etc...it's really lovely to see that some members have been welcomed back from their ban so enthusiastically and warmly but my personal opinion is that it hasn't necessarily been the same with everyone...and maybe those members that it hasn't been that for do share some responsibility with that themselves as well but I also don't think it's a 'one sided' thing either because they can also be 'provoked' and sniped at for things in the past or generally ignored if they do try to say hey or chat... so I think that's quite hard for them as well and not really very welcoming or encouraging and just goes for stuff continuing and continuing and not being put in the past with new beginnings ..and then there are inevitable more bans and more bans...
