How many warnings before you're banned?

I thought that once you got three warnings you were banned, but recently that doesn't seem to be the case.

In answer to the question, receiving three individual warnings results in an automatic temporary ban from the Forum. Each individual warning lasts for 3 days. Once that time has elapsed, the warning is removed and the poster can return to the Forum.

However ........... if they carry on posting in a similar manner which results in further warnings being issued, then they may well be banned permanently.
