It is important to me when a person has been slaggin me while I've been offline. Sorry, that's not on and what I say is true. I've reread her doing it on at least 4 occasions. I pm'd her to ask her to stop, that's all.
Then if she has report it and move on.
Let the mods resolve the issues, thats what they are there for.
Endless bickering like this only sinks us all down in the boggy marsh a little more.
Sorry Claymores, I'll try to be more lighthearted. Told you I needed to be a bit lighter mood wise.

Yeah, she'll come out it stronger I think, she seems to have overcome worse things in her past.
Who do you want out this week?
jj would be my first choice, followed by dave...but i expect it'll be jo , how bout you?

Indeed!
I didnt see it but heard what went on. Same old with him twisting away and giggling to avoid actually kissing the girl. I feel bad for Josie but at the same time she is shallow just to go for him because hes good looking, several times Ive heard her comment about not liking his personality.
What got me was when they had to list things they like about each other, and she was just using synonyms for his looks. This is after she already knows that he doesn't like shallow people (apparently).
They don't seem to even be on the same wavelength half the time.

Exactly.
I think John James just said he didnt like stunning girls in order to look good, and that he isnt bothered about sex.
Was a thread made about his mum revealing he has dated models, wish people woke up to what hes playing at.

You haven't seen the other things she's posted. Honestly. You don't know what you're talking about, and I dont mean that to cause offense.
And my first comment was directed towards everyone really, not to Jaye in particular. Breaking the ice kinda thing, especially since there's been so many bans of late.
No offence taken, and your right I havent.
Does that matter though, again, people on the forums (as you will well know) will make their minds up about anything. Its pointless trying to argue about it, because no one will look good in the long run. It can make even the innocent look bad.
They are just words, let it be. If it keeps happening, report it to the mods and ignore them, by argueing it it just makes it worse.
One of the reasons there has been so many bans is because people won't let things drop and continue them ad nausium. Things get blown out of proportion and its just ends badly.
I haven't posted much this season because the forum has been a little angrier and more chips on shoulders, whats the point in getting angry.
Seriously whats the point? Its on a forum, there are mods, at the end of the day (urgh, you just made me quote saskia) its just a forum and really no-one cares.
I do think your opening post could have been a little less questioning and just more hiya, but we all make mistakes.
Just let it lie now (the both of you) you've killed my buzz.

Ive not seen tonights show, was out earlier, will catch it later today.
From the results though you can tell intimidation of a kind was at play with John James getting no votes for the first time in an age.

That's what I've been trying to make you understand - I don't care how she views me but she cares how others view her, and she spreads her opinion on the whole subject all over the forum. That's my problem. I wouldn't have made an issue about it if it hadn't been warranted. Our argument is long over but I'm discussing how she's behaved since, that's all, and it has become increasingly difficult because she has denied mentioning me at all when the facts are there in various threads. She continues to take the pi$$ out of me.. honestly.
But anyway, you're right - I should stop it and leave her to it, and I'm very sorry for ruining your buzz and that of others.

Who do you like AOAJ?
Haha, well thats an interesting question, especially seeing as what I have been posting about getting over things.
I hate all of them, I mean I seriously hate all of them. I have ever only liked one HM and that was Eugene.
With me, its more a thing of put 14+ idiots into a house with nothing to do and watch. I just enjoy the trashyness stupidity of it all.
Im a bitter cynical person, I don't like the way our society runs, I don't like the way image is more important over content, I don't like the general attitude of the people in the house.
However, I do like to just watch people being people, thats why I watch, just for the interactions.
I used to run a pub, and the one thing I miss is watching everything that was going on from behind the bar, spotting all the little quirks and habits. I'd chat to people about everything, mostly random things and take interest in their lives to a great deal. I didn't care about them, I was just enjoying watching them and their lives.
BB is just a way I can experience the same thing but whilst in my boxers in bed with a smoke.
I don't have favourite housemates, I don't like to be blinkered in my thoughts. Its not like a football team that you follow for life, this is about people and their personalities, their interactions with others, some things I'll agree with some I won't. I just enjoy watching.
Who do I want to win, probably Corin, as its really out of her JJ, Josie and Sam. Sam I don't think should win, because its been like three weeks, but I wouldnt begrudge him the win, and maybe it would be nice for a newbie to finally win. Josie, I don't like her attitude at times, and think she would be a disaster to win and the messages that says to people about how its ok to behave. Same with JJ. Corin has made mistakes, but over all, she has been the one (out of the realistic winners) that has offended me the least. So thats probably the reason.
That said I stuck some money on JJ because I can see him winning it with the people that actually vote.

Its ok, I just rolled up another one, the buzz will soon be back.
Some people will care what others think, some won't. I have very little care about what people think of me apart from those that I consider to be close to my heart. Maybe its a lot easier for me as such to not care.
If Jaye has been spreading things around, then others will read them and think worse of her, and if she is so worried about what people will think of her, then she is only going to making it worse for herself by doing it.
I only got involved because this all went off in this thread, and quite frankly I didnt see the point in ignoring something that was obviously going to continue.
Im not a mod, and you could have easily told me to eff out of this, so thank you for replying with grace rather than that of a brat. If these posts do continue just remember that it will look worse for them than it does for you.
Lifes too short.
Just because I have been taking issues up with you rather than Jaye doesnt mean I am assuming you to be in the wrong here, just rather to me, in this thread, you did seem to come across as the one with the issue. I don't care if thats right or not, thats just what I saw, and as such, thats how I have reacted.
Hopefully I have helped rather than hindered the situation.

Haha, good post, you come across as quite an interesting and intelligent person, bit in bold I couldnt agree with more. It makes me so mad when I see people support housemates purely on looks, espicially since Big Brother should be a personality contest in all fairness.
Would love to see Corin or Sam win. :)

Haha, I swear one of the reasons why people seem to assume Im intelligent on forums is because I very rarely reply with one or two lines, I end up waffling on, mostly (in my head) to make sure what I am trying to say comes across clearly. Thats kind of why I havent been posting much this year, people on the whole just seem to want to state facts for a sentence or two and have no debate about anything. Just seems to be a little dull and pointless to me.
I have opinions, doesnt make them fact. If you disagree with me and can argue why, giving examples Im more than willing to change my mind, nothings set in stone.
Just wish more people knew the meaning of diplomacy nowadays. Rather than assuming everything is 'two-faced'.

I have a seoson ticket with East Fife (soccer in lower division) - English soccor on cable all the time
Nice. I didn't know the UK had all that access to seeing US sports, that's pretty sweet

I said not too long ago that I wish they showed more of them having fun and not just gameplay talk too. But I guess with it only airing 3 days a week they need to cram it all in and gameplay is the most important part in BBUS.

Im always good, gave up not being good a few years back, not accounting for periods of depression mind.
I got froze out for a short while today, but sometimes thats because of something else I do online which seems to break the connection for short(ish) periods of time.

Yeah, (I prefer their 'davina' as well) I watch BB for the personality side of the people (which is the one reason I have stuck with this years as some of the people are interesting, just not entertaining). So really miss it. It worries me too, as someone like Rachel is someone I'd probably hate in our BB, but I quite like her (shames me a bit though - as I suspect its accurate if I had LF) but still know nothing about her.
A mix of the two would be the best.
PS The black and white evicted photos you have are ruining the suprises for me (I dont care that much to be honest but a little annoyed now I see Rachel out grrr!)

This is my second year here, I was spoilt, I was on c4 but left when it got nasty, and I found a really good small forum with about hundred members but generally all of them posted well thought out things, and it was actually a discussion board rather than just opinions.
This year though there just seems to be underlying anger all the times. Too many one lined answers that are just opinions without backing them up. Or get xxxx out, haters, or insults.
Still I moan, so arent any better.

She went out tonight unfortunely, wont say anymore but you get 5 weeks of her at least - which was really good going considering shes in a showmance which everybody was after.
And I know what you mean, I probably wouldnt have liked Rachel as much in our series but because the whole point of BBUS is to gameplay I LOVE her, she is cracking at the competitions and most of the others aint that likable imo.
Yeah a mixture would be good. I cant decide if I prefer the public vote or not, on one hand we get a say and choose what happens and if there is a strong alliance in the house they get too much control but on another it can stop the big characters going early and also those proceeding just based on looks. Stops the need for bias editing also.

I don't know much, just bits and pieces. I don't really care about it to be honest, the housemates were who they were because of the people in the house and their lives at the time.
They'll be different people now trying to be the same, leave things like this in the past, let us have the memories of them, not to be altered for two weeks of potentially car crash tv.

I know what you mean, I used to be the one that would sit in a group of friends and say very little, and next to nothing if there was someone new with us. The only thing I had going for me was my sense of humour, but I wasn't really the funny one. I ended up telling myself that I wanted to make the effort and not be like it, but never could. I used to drink in a crappy pub with a few friends and ended up one day getting a bar job, after a year I moved to another pub, and started gaining confidence in dealing with people, as hell I was having to do it all the time. I started training to do more than just bar work, then I was on the relief circuit and running other peoples pubs when they went on holiday (like a trial sort of thing). But the managers would then often blame you for their mistakes and try to clean their image when they returned. One accused me of stealing several barrels worth of beer, they said customers had been getting free drinks and putting me in a bad light. Little did they know that they had been poured down the drain by a company auditor. I had enough quit, but felt better within myself, one night whilst off my face I booked some airflights and ended up travelling on my own around europe for a while, doing some things which could have ended badly (I took some things with me on my trip, which I took when on my trip). I came back with a newer look on things and made an effort. Ended up running the pub near my home where I had worked for four years. Had a bizarre but fun year, but then it all broke apart, things went bad.
Now, I just realise that I prefer my own company, I still go out occasionally, to see friends. But in truth, I prefer being anti-social. I get nothing out of the need to be social, I don't feel the need to be around people, or to have people around me.
It just took me 28 years to work that out.

I really really dont like The Brigade, find them very irritating and not very good players ('cept Matt, but hes too aragant) - just getting by because of their numbers and because the others are too dumb! The gay guy Ragan, hes alright, just recently Ive gone off him slightly along with Britney, theyre funny but I think a bit too bitchy for my liking. Andrew and Brendon are decent guys out of them I thought. :) LOL, Top Cat is a cool name, Enzo aint cool he can stick as Miaow Miaow.
The tasks can seem biased, but I guess its the same situation as the Save and Replace task we have. Though I think our Big Brother really does engineer it to who they would like to save the most.
I think that would make a big difference to the results, and would make it a lot fairer and not taken over by the teeny boppers! Would it be hard to set up? Mobile phones would be a problem though, unless they cant be used somehow.

You're an interesting person, just like Enid said to me. Glad to make your aquaintence kind sir.

It wouldnt cost much to set up at all (well I guess without knowing just guessing). It could easily be done though. If its a membership per person just give them two numbers, say their birthdate 160980 and a membership number 123456 which they can enter on touchtone phones then they could have the vote then, providing the numbers match. A bit like when you phone your bank and have to enter everything in. They could charge for membership as well £8 to vote for the whole season. reduce it as the weeks go on for latecomers to the show.
In a vote to save they could even enable it to have more than one vote that week. The technology is out there, it can't be that hard.

I have no idea how old you are, I went travelling when I was 23, I feel better for it at that age than going when I was 18/19. I met a few of that age when I was about, and they seemed a little too young for it, whats the point of getting drunk in every place you go to, why travel if you just want to get drunk. I can't say I was any better because I was still a little messy myself at times (not condoning it, but was wasted on esctasy whilst touring the vatican (and many other places beside). Yet, I went for the culture, history and food. Loved it. Made friends for life in a day that I will never speak to again (only because whats the point?)
Books are good, I took a few with me, gave them away after I had read them to other people, people seemed shocked when I gave them a book as well, like it was a huge thing (not that I just didnt want the weight anymore).

Yeah, but even if BB does come back, I can't see it changing, the mutile votes bring in the money. BB is cheap, look at the prize fund, and quality of tasks. They wont change it, it makes too much money for that.
What we need is a billionaire to love BB so much that he does he own one and films it, someone who will take a loss to see a show.
(I have said it before, but if it wasnt done by a company wanting to make money it would be better - so personal finaince really)
(If it were me, I would build the house inside a building, with soundproofing, so members of the public could pay to go and wander around the outside of it, watching and listening in for a while, like a fish tank at an aquarium.

So interesting though because you worked in pubs like me, in front of so many people. The contradiction is so striking, right?
It is, but the first pub I worked at was a locals only pub, (not known not welcome type place, that if you continue to go to eventually they'll accept you and its a home from home) so that made me confident in the job as I was a regular. Then moved pubs because of a disagreement with the landlord, it was something I was already comfortable with, also luckily at the same time another pub was shut down for flats, and they moved to the pub at the same time I did, so there were a few people finding their feet so because I was as well we sort of got on. I was lucky and worked in two friendly pubs, but did see some bad ones as well.
As you know though, pubs are odd, in the fact that as a customer standing in the pub it looks one way, but then it looks completely different from behind the bar. that two foot of wood in front of the barman really cuts him off, its like a safety net of sorts, protecting you from them.

I always hoped that she end up moving to the London area, always thought it would be nice to have a proper chat with her about everything. It can be annoying sometimes when you have to write, it takes so long to say anything.
haha I never understand why people think my waffling on about things for ages makes me a good poster. I get told it every now and then and I hate it, same why I hate being told Im funny. I know I can make people laugh but it makes me a bit awkward. I think I just dont like compliments. I gave up my ego years ago, much better without it.

Hah I would but I've kind of given up being a mod. I asked to be made a member again but I've got no replies to my pm so I've just been ignoring my mody duties, lol.
You should go on a Modding rampage, banning all the people that annoy you, and randomdly changing names and stuff, you will get a reply from your PM then :joker:

I've barely been on at all lately,I'd rather be on Twitter with the JJJ fans. The cynicism here drives me utterly insane.
Do you think John will be out next week?

I'm just fed up with it all. Fed up with being yelled at for closing a thread and being called 'bias'. Fed up of people thinking I have no feelings. Fed up of not feeling like I can have any fun on here.
