I'm on the other side of the pond and just finally got a chance to watch Save & Replace. So I'm sorry that I'm so behind. But it's total bull**** what he did. He gave this big speech about how he put all of his thought into decision "I can't do it to the girls or to Andrew or JJ," but he didn't find the time to flip a coin alone in private before S&R? He had to make a big scene about flipping the coin (or whatever the hell it was). He freakin nominated Josie, but he didn't choose her after winning S&R?

He is a coward and I don't buy it for one minute that he didn't know who he was going to put up.

I don't care if he was honest or not. Dave is like some sort of vile cockroach. Any way that he gets up for eviction is fine by me.

I think he out-thought himself by trying to absolve himself from responsibility.

Hey Mario - you said you don't want to put people through it 2 weeks in a row to Andrew, so it's Dave or Steve. ahem Mario, wasn't Dave up last week?!

C'mon, you can't defend Mario by asserting that he's dumb, he knows whats going on! LOL

Mario hate threads should not be allowed on this forum :nono:
But seriously, I think it proves he didn't lie about who he put up for eviction as Dave was the chosen one. He would have personally preferred it if he hadn't have known which colour was if he was in that position... so that's why he didn't say to them, and I sort of understand that. Dave is his better friend, so why would he go out of his way to do all this coin tossing, if he was just going to put his friend up in the end? He said he did it fairly and I believe him, that he did. I'm quite sure if it had have been Dave that was safe and Steve had been up, that Dave would have nothing to say about it. Also, Dave's going on about them being friends, so why would Mario put him up?... **** off. Dave nominated him, himself.. Dave just can't accept the fact he's up for eviction.

I honestly don't mind Mario...BUT...he's the most desperate to win housemate i've ever seen on BB (with Corin running a close second). I doubt his explanations for not wanting to put up certain housemates. As i mentioned in another thread, i think he didn't pick Jo, JJ & Andrew - more likely because they're new and not a threat to win BB. Then it came down to the 4 originals. Anyways, we'll never know if he did genuinely assign a colour on the button per housemate, it's pure speculation. But you have to admit, it's a little bit dodgy that he was unprepared to say - when John asked him, before he tossed.

I thought he made a melaof his selection and it would have been better to do it another way, as to his reasoning why he couldnt put a girl up,thats stretching it a bit, girls!!! H ehad the chance to put someone up who hadn'e been up before, really he should have put Josie up but STEVE hasn't been up yet either so since he came down to Steve and Dave and since Dave had been up the previous week, it would have been a sound decision to put Steve up this time.
What sickened more was moderator John James sticking his nose in and taking the moral high ground,no one needs any lessons from him on the right thing to do and no one could ever learn anything from hom as to the right thing to do.
He couldnt even win a task crawling on his stomach for goodness sake, the big girls blouse that he is.

If he had just said which side of the coin was for each person, he would have got away with it. JJ was right when he told him this. He had time to think of everything else, so why not that part of it.

What was the . . . I couldnt possibly pick a girl . . . bit all about?
He has no such trouble nominating girls behind their backs?

Hes a backstabbing tosser. He could've put up Andrrew,JJ2 or Jo.Tells josie he wouldnt put her up cos they were in lockdown but nominates her. He's trying to instigate a fake friendship with Jo to make it look like hes actually doin somethin in there.

He should have put Steve up but didn't have the gonad to do it. Steve had said he's happy facing the public vote.

It was a slimey thing to do. How can anyone defend the bull that we heard coming out of him last night?
You know the way he was constantly slagging and condemning Ben over how selfish and using he was? Well, usually what bugs you the most about others is basically a reflection of your own weaknesses, and Mario is a little two faced weasel, who is driven to distraction because of his need for attention and to survive in the house.

I thought, and correct me if I'm wrong, that when he was talking in the bedroom to JJ1 about who they would put up, they both agreed on Steve - so how come he decided on Dave - does he see Dave as more of a threat maybe?

Too "chivalrous" to put a girl up-he's not a knight of the bloody realm.Doesnt stop him nominating girls every week.Dont think Dave regareds the mole as a "good boy" anymore-the fire in his belly has been extinguished.

Dave and Mario are as bad as each other. Dave nominated Mario anyway, and Mario didn't have the balls to swap himself for John James or Josie, either of his nominations. Now we've only got a few weeks left we can start evicting Dave and Mario.

Moley is a legend. So happy he won S+R task. It was also a smart move for him NOT to put Josie up!! Otherwise Josie's and John James' eviction votes would split. More chance of John James going now! woo hoo! thanks Moley

I don't really see him like that tbh. That went to Ben and Corin. Also John to an extent. His reasons seemed fair enough to me. Lets be honest, whatever he did to decide who would replace himself, he was going to get **** off some of them for 'unfairness' or something. It's sorta fair if the originals go up anyway as they've been there the longest.. give the others a chance. No, we won't ever know for certain, I do believe that he was telling the truth though. And not really... it just seemed he hadn't thought it all through properly.

Difference, Mario was pissed for only like a hour.
Dvae still wont shut up about it.
And for people saying he said he was going to pick steve, I watched live feed and he said he was going to flip a coin bwtween steve and dave before winning the task.
And who did he say it to? John James of course.
Marios only downfall was not saying which side was which
