To have raised such an obnoxious poisonous little twat. I cant believe he has been allowed to get away with such behaviour. Any one else notice the only one he hasn't picked on is steve, which just shows his behaviour is all an act because if he was being himself why not target everyone. Get him out.

Well if its an act then he's not really poisonous then is he? Duh.

And his parents should be very proud....he's a brilliant HM!

They are probably as proud as John James family.

if by strong character you mean being insulting to everyone you meet and generally being a twat then yes he has a strong character

This totally he's breathed some life into BB11 at long last and is getting the HM's to show their true colours.

Agreed. As long as he loves his mummy! That's all that matters!

Oh damn.. could use the same excuse for John James.. but John James is a twat!! Sam has stuck up to him and put him in his place! :elephant:

We don't even know if Sam has any parents - he lives with his grandparents.

That said, he has spoken nothing but the truth so far, and people like JJ&J, who wouldn't know the truth if it hit them in the face, are being found out big time. He has certainly breathed new life into the house. The only fans objecting are the ones that support HMs Sam has chosen to confront with some uncomfortable home truths:D

His parents are so "proud" - they don't even let him live with them! :joker:

We don't actually know why he lives with his grandparents rather than his parents. I'm guessing his parents have split up or whatever.

The problem with Sam is that he is so busy being obnoxious, that nobody wants to have a proper conversation with him, so we don't really get to know him at all.

Yes I see your point - much better to be nice to everyone's face then go away and bitch about them - and thats the brave way to do it isn't it. I can see parents of that type of person would be sooooo proud:conf:

C'mon everyone bitches about other people behind their back from time to time. And if you say you never do......... you're a liar! :D

The difference is that, in reallife, we don't have cameras recording it all.

Ye thats true but it doesn't mean its the right thing to do and it doesn't mean we have to insult people who have the b*lls to call people to their faces. Why should Sam's parents be any less proud of him than any of the other hm's

Could say, and indeed have said, exactly the same about JJs parents! Rude, obnoxious, selfish, arrogant, bad mannered, bully-boy, spoilt little brat John James - whose only positive quality seems to be his looks, if you like that sort of thing! Even his blonde hair is fake! Wouldn't be proud of him, if he was mine!

Early days, but Sam, at least, does seem to demonstrate some redeeming features! He does seem to have a likeable side to him!

If he were my son I wouldn't want to admit it, for sure!

I would feel my parenting skills left a lot to be desired, for someone to turn out like that......

Sam Pepper I am proud of you. For not taking the easy option and ingratiating yourself with the in crowd. You could have taken the easy route like JJ2 and from the security of that crowd given the underdog a good head kicking (Sam on this occasion) with JJ2's constant SHUT THE ****** UP put downs, even though only Sam had any idea about choreography.

I AM PROUD OF YOU SAM.

Making yourself instantly loathed by people is nothing to be proud about.

Sam could have gone about things in a much more pleasant way - and would have been more effective by doing so.

Anything Sam says is now dismissed by the other HMs. In real life that is hardly something that is going to help him progress from spraying paint on people's walls!

Kaaarenn!

It also gives him carte blanche to say what he wants and much of it is the truth. Nobody else is in a position to speak their mind.

Shaken the shack? Stamped his foot more like. A couple of times he may have voiced what some of us were thinking, but he lacks the maturity and the vocabulary of most of us and can't really express himself properly. And I wish he's learn to talk like an adult instead of a baby. It's annoying on a twenty-one year old.

Yes but he could say exactly what he has been saying in a much more effective manner.

Getting people's backs up is not the way.

He couldn't have done it any differently - he questioned Josie's romance. Did he shout at her or swear at her or call her fake - no asked her to clarify she turned it round to say he was saying she was fake - her interpretation not his fault. But having provoked that reaction he realised he had hit a nerve and has persisted. He joked about her and John James under the covers. It was said with a smile and they laughed too - or at least Crab Eyes did. So what was aggressive in any of this - it is the other hm's reaction to Sam that are raising the tension. And the guy has stood his ground and not walked - most people couldn't hack it when the pack turned on them

But its his immature methods that are making him so fearless and relentless! If he were more sophisticated and mature he'd think more before speaking and it just wouldnt be as effective.

Its that annoying little brat schtick thats winding them up so much! He's in their faces constantly and never gives up. Exactly whats needed in there right now. His blast at JJ last night was wicked and he nearly got JJ to hit him...how cool would that have been? JJ kicked out for violence!

Well I have my suspicions about Sam. ;)

I can't help feeling he's been briefed by BB. I have read elsewhere the viewing figures have gone up by 15% since he entered the house.

I'm sure in real life Sam is also an irritation to people, but he may have been asked to be as full-on as possible by BB.

I reckon he's a sweety in real life. I don't get a nasty vibe from him at all. When he was talking about his life and what he loves doing on his first night he seemed very creative and caring. Working with secondary school kids and stuff.

He's in there to mix it up for entertainment. Its a TV show ffs.

Yeah, I do kind of get it... I do see that he's annoying the others and therefore a good housemate, but I just don't like him. Some of the most cutting, bitchiest people I've ever met have been educated, eloquent and devastating when it comes to cutting people down.

I think it might be the brat shtick thing that gets on my nerves the most. He's twenty one. He's three years older than the youngest serving soldier in Afghanistan. He's three years over the age of majority... and he's SO childish! And as much as I despise JJ (and I do! I SO DO!) I thought he shut Sam up last night and that Sam looked a little pathetic.

So what - they all make promises on their VT's what they're going to do to shake up the house - then they go in and make tea and sit and sunbathe and smoke and be in bed by midnight. Well we have now got someone who delivers and some people want him sent to his room for being a naughty boy. Its not Sam that needs to grow up!

Niamh.

he's lived up to his promises, which I appreciate. He's livened up the show and made it much more entertaining to watch, well done Sam!

No, this is not about vague promises on a VT. I think Sam may well be under instructions from BB.

Big difference.
