Thats a good point actually. I dont think John James will go but if he did I can see Josie struggling to stay there. If she didnt have the knowledge that she was so popular then she probably would leave but now she thinks she has a good shot at winning she will probably stay.

A lot of it is based on her laziness - which clearly is a major factor in her being the size she is!

I, personaly, am not a great believer in offering my sympathy to those whose 'condition' is self-inflicted - whether that be someone's weight, drink problems, whatever!

Of course she is likely to be 'overweight' if she lays around on her backside all day - not even attempting to burn off any calories! She is in there, apparently, with the man of her dreams - yet makes little effort to make herself more attractive! Very lazy person - a very negative quality!

I don't think it's about her size per se but about how she carries it.

I remember reading an interview with a member of a girl band (sorry, not familiar with them all but she was black and in her 20s, Destiny's Child maybe?) saying she'd grown up in a house with her mother and two aunts and that none of them were ever going to see a size 16 again but you could never say that they weren't sexy and I can totally believe her.

I also work with a girl who, on a trip to New York had a black woman walk up to her and say to her 'you got a big ass for a white girl' and she HAS, but she's the sexiest woman on our floor by far as she dresses for her shape in little 50s inspired dresses that show off her waist.

Nobody could deny that Nigella Lawson is dead sexy and she's no skinny minnie but Josie is none of these people, Josie shuffles around barely lifting her feet off the floor and thinks a duvet is the height of sartorial elegance. It's fairly obvious she's the size and shape she is due to laziness. She's a slob.

Do I believe John James finds her attractive? He couldn't take his eyes off her during the dance routine (maybe he preferred her dress ;) ), I believe he cares about her (I also believe he's scared of her) but I do think he has a stumbling block about wanting to get physical with her. His body language showed discomfort which can be explained by the fact that he's on national tv in front of his family and friends. I don't think it would be any different regardless of who he was with

You said it was irrelevant but it clearly is relevant. Far from just saying 'she's a fat slob' I gave (what I thought was) a very reasoned explanation about why I feel her size is unattractive but if you wish to dismiss it as 'old' then feel free.
