Like the phone going into Davina's hand and getting into the box, Mario appearing out of nowhere and the flowers randomly appearing in the box.

It obviously wasn't live then! Even with a delay, either. It must have been a full-blown pre recording where they asked Mario to stop while they do stuff. :mad:

I'm guessing the filmed the segments of the empty platform and Davina without the phone beforehand and played the clip while Mario and Davina got into position. Very simply done.

No, don't think it was live because Mario didn't look that shocked when Davina appeared because she said that he didn't know that Davina was going to be involved in the trick.

With the phone + Davina thing they'd have paused the recording when she was holding her hand up with nothing in it, then given her a phone...attempted to try and get her back into exactly the same position...and then continued recording. Anyone can do it themselves with their own video camera.

Same thing would've been done with Mario on the platform I guess. Not sure about the rest though...that baffled me.
