I'm glad of the rest though although there should have been a BB9 representative.

Finally Marcus is overrated, he was one of my favourites of BB10 but people put him on a very silly pedastool that he doesn't deserve. He was one of the best in a godawful series.

For the record, BBUS's edited show is total **** and much worse than any episode of BBUK....but the live feed is solid, and the fact that they're allowed strategy means none of the pussy-footing you find in UK. Villains can actually go far/win in BBUS, you get none of the fame-seeking, perception paranoia, and the mistake-prone public isn't given any power. It's kind of nice but it's apples and oranges. Totally different formats, totally different shows. I think 99% of BBUK HMs would break down, cry and leave within the first week of BBUS's rules. It's brutal.

but the down-side is that BB7 was scripted. This was acceptable and fun when it was meant to be a special one-off novelty season,
however,
The problem comes about when you get BBUSA 8 and you knew from Day One who was going to the final.
You knew it.
It becomes as dull and predictable (more so) when its blatantly obvious writers are scripting the 'bad boy' and developing a storyline for you.

More on topic..
...I was a bit upset at the BBUK 'all-star' casting until I realized they are really bringing back most of the best remembered HMs to participate in all kinds of tasks/events/special appearances.
Some to do with the house and others in things outside the house.

Keep in mind another thing - this 'season' is not a full season and even ones who are chosen Housemates are going to be there for just a few days or a week or so.
I suppose someone has to be there for as long as 3 weeks (if thats how long it is).
As for actual 'minutes on screen' we are going to be seeing quite a bit of many different former HMs.

So I'm happy with that.

Obviously Marcy doesn't deserve to be there and was 'carried' through BB10 mainly for the reason it was a disaster and Producers just seemed amused to eff with some idiot,
but,
I agree with the OP that there absolutely needed to be someone from BB9 which may have been the best season.
Rachel Rice obviously.

Mario and Lisa = classics.
Kat = BB Classic

Rex wasn't a 'classic' but Mikey would definitely have been a great 'Classic' BB HM of all time.
