Fans have been wondering when the current series ends.

Well, this year's series – the last-ever on Channel 4 – is shorter than it has been over the past few years, and won't end on a Friday as usual.

Rather, it will end on Tuesday the 24th of August 2010, when one of the contestants will be crowned the Winner and receive the £100,000 prize money. This will come as a surprise to the remaining housemates, as they believe that the series is set to run for longer.

The Winner will then be sent straight back into the Big Brother House, and 'Ultimate Big Brother' aka 'BB All-stars' will begin. As that second moniker suggests, this series will feature Big Brother UK housemates from the past ten years (but not necessarily winners), together with a smattering of celebrities. It should be great!

Back to BB11, at the time of writing there are still eleven contestants in the game, although one will be leaving tonight at the 7th Eviction. We're not quite sure how the producers will whittle the group down before the Finale though, but obviously Davina can't interview too many people on the same night that she'll introduce the All-stars contestants.

Therefore, fans should probably expect one if not two double evictions over the next couple of weeks.
