You're probably right Fizz, as it was edited in that way, unfortunately. In reality, Barrymore was far more harsh to Dennis in the same show, but Pete is the scapegoat this year, so that will be conveniently brushed under the carpet. If anyone was ever going to behave in a racist manner, then pretty much the last place they'd bother to try it would be in the same house as Dennis. :bored:

Indeed. He's been in the music business for almost 30 years, and if he was a racist, it would've come out long before now. He was frequently interviewed by the music press (Sounds, Melody Maker, Record Mirror, NME, The Face, etc.) and many of those people are major journalists in both the tabloids and broadsheets now. You can't pull the wool over the eyes of so many highly skilled people for all of that time without being caught out.

Although I don't agree with some of the things he says and does; he is still the most entertaining and the house would be a lot duller without him!

Yeah I agree too. I certainly don't think Pete is a racist under any stretch of the imagination, but he is being made out to be the villain of the piece. Sometimes I think he is too harsh and I certainly think he went over the top with Traci the other night, but I accept that I only saw the highlights, and they are edited in favour of certain housemates.

Pete has been one of the most entertaining housemates by far, and when he goes, his absence will be very noticeable.

I suspect you're right Fangz, and Chantelle and Preston - who both seem to have had a personality by-pass - will somehow end up winning this:bored:

well i've never liked pete but it is unfair the way they edited the show why wont they show barrymore for his true colours.

I don't see how it could have been edited to make him look any worse. I thought he was really unfair on Traci. I think he's a bit jealous of how good looking she is. He attacked her for having big boobs and getting jobs basically because of them, wow, is she the first person to do that? Has for her having mental issues i think he's the one with mental issues not being able to sleep and walking round the house looking well rough.

There's a lot I dont like about Pete, but he certainly isnt trying to be something he isnt. His attitude is if you dont like me then ******** whereas some of the others are so concerned about when they are appearing live on tv and how people will perceive them that they are putting on an act all the time.

Pete didn't go on bb to find friends..he went to have fun and stir things up. Pete is great entertainment and he knows it. Pete should make the final just because he makes great tv....a Preston & Chantelle final is expected but c'mon who would care which one out of them two won....people like them together or not at all.

As much as i hate Pete with a passion (Since yesterday) i do think its really unfair that they edited out and made pete look like a bad man, when Micheal Bullymore is just a bully, and what he said to dennis was just plain nasty.
