What is the point in JJ the 2nd?

What is he point, what does he do in the house, and what does he offer, because he has tagged onto John James he is hiding his absolute uselessness. The house has not been better since he arrived and he won't be miss (apart from John james) if he left, he is boring, useless and adds no value! Does he even speak? He is the biggest SHEEP ever!
