I dont know about now. But it used to be that if someone did a trick on tv. they had to work with the magic circle ( a sort of magicains union) first. About 15 years ago a guy showed how to do a card trick on the show "how do they do that" on bbc 1. He got thrown out of the magic circle. They used to be quite strict about it.

But Mario who is preforming the trick isnt a member of The Magic Circle so no big deal.

But they would have to have told him how the trick was done. BB must have got permission to do that

Then that is the answer then. They must of got permission for him to allow to learn the magic trick. Its not like after he leaves the show he is going to exploit how the trick is done or become a magicain.

Just google and you will find the "how to" to most of that stuff

There was even a quite famous magician, who made a TV show, just showing off how those things are done.

The magic is actually gone long time already

It was dead easy, Mario even explained it on LF! he didn't pull the curtains all the way back and Davina was in a "box" behind the curtain. Fist time around she put out a spray of flowers for him to reveal and the second time around she got out of the box and took her position for him to draw the curtain back!
