Mario chosen to be Mole!?

David reminded Mario this afternoon that he thought he was specifically chosen as the house mole rather than being randomly picked from the tombola on opening night.

As Mario reminisced about his days performing 'mole' tasks, David claimed that Mario was not selected by chance.

"You know the 'Save Yourself' task? I had to crawl through that air vent," Mario explained to Sam. "You wouldn’t have been able to crawl through that Dave."

"That's why the mole was selected really carefully," David replied. "Tubs [another potential housemate] wouldn't have been able to fit through that would he? Everything about [you] was very mole-ish."

Mario then joked that at one point Ife thought Mario had a twin brother and was swapping with him to perform his tasks, before Andrew asked whether he believed he was specifically chosen by Big Brother for the mole role.

"I don’t care whether it was by choice or 1 in 67 chance," Mario replied. However, he was soon interrupted by David.

"You were there by design, Mole," David began. "You look like a mole, you act like a mole, you have big hands like a mole. You are a mole."

"They wanted to give you the ultimate Big Brother experience 'cause they knew you were a fan and bought the chair.

"There was only going to be one name coming out of that tombola."

LOL I mentioned to Jack on MSN weeks back in Week 1 about this and said that Steve wouldn't of been able to be a mole either because his legs would of like got stuck in that tunnel or something and it'd take him about 7 hours to trash the kitchen.

Of course it was a fix whoever didn't see that is a dolt.

They obviously knew Mario from years ago:

-He owns the BB7 Chair that obviously they auctioned.
-He was a tester for Big Brother 9.
-He probably auditioned every year.

I suppose they are happy it was ol' moley himself Mario as I am sure they wouldn't have wanted to knock down the whole toilet wall to allow Josie, Dave and Steve to do the task.

It wasn't a fix, but people would have claimed it was no matter who was the mole, imagine the outcry if Amin had made it. People would have said that he is the only one who could fit the little mole suit he was given, so it must be a fix.

Mario likes to pretend he is more special than he actually is, look at how he behaves regarding this whole secret nonsense, he also lets on he has bb inside info.

And if bb were going to fix it, they would have put someone less pervy. And to be fair, he was pretty bad as the mole, Sunshine found him out, and she's hardly Jessica Fletcher.

It was done randomly, BB had nothing to gain by fixing it, and loads to lose, especially at the very start of the series. Plus most of the remaining contestants could have done the same, if not a better job than Mario.

I've always said that Mario is a good housemate and why wouldn't BB have not chosen for the house so I was thinking it was always going to be him anyway. What they should've done was got Davina to show the public and everyone else a few of the balls in the tombola to proove it wasn't the same name on every ball.

It's not even about being a good housemate. At the end of the day, you'll a smart housemate who will fit the role. I mean it doesn't take Albert Einstein to work out that Andrew would be a better mole than Brian Belo.

He's had laminates to read since though, so he clearly CAN read.
