Who was yours, and did you change your mind later?

Mine was Ben from day 1 and it never changed. I did like Josie for the first couple of weeks as well as Dave and Mario, but now I hate those three. I hated JJ1, Scabby and Keeva on sight and my opinion never changed on that. I still quite like Steve and even though Corin is irritating she's grown on me a bit.

I liked Crabby,LOL,Yes I did say liked,I wasn't keen on Ben but i was curious about him,didn't like Mario,Dave,Govan,Rachael,Shabby,liked Josie wasn't too sure about Corin,but as the days went by it was Ben who captured me,he was so sweet and polite and i started to detest Crabeyes for his constant picking on him,When he gave up on his task,I thought now here is a man that is not a player,he was being himself and not fawning up to the cameras,the moment Ben asked the task sergeant if he had any chewing gum,I knew Ben was going to get my support and i never changed my mind once about him,I miss him loads in the house ,but as we've seen he is having a great time.

Mine was Josie, quite liked John James. Did not like Ben or Shabby. Didn't*think much of any of the others.
Never liked Shabby was glad she got evicted, grew to really dislike Josie and John James and grew to love Ben, he is my favourite HM of all time. Also have grown to like Corin and really like Sam too.

Have to agree that the army task with Ben sealed it for me - he was so totally himself in the house, and didn't try to pander to the viewers or the HMs to score brownie points, but when it counted he always did the tasks to the best of his ability. His exchanges with the T.O.T. are some of my all time favourite BB moments.

I forgot to mention Sunshine who I disliked when she first went in, but who really grew on me. I started to detest Josie after the way she went after Sunshine over the crisps and I believe it was because JJ1 and Sunshine were quite close. I think if Sunshine had stayed I would have liked her more and more because she was quite quirky and eccentric.

My fave was Shabby, I wanted her in when I seen her pic in the eighty potentials. I also liked Caoimhe, Govan and Josie. However I went off Govan pretty quickly, but I kept liking Josie, some weeks though I wasn't too fond of her. And I went off Caoimhe the week before Shabby walked.


Anyway now my fave is Dave :)

I can never pick a favourite on launch night.

I did think Shabby & Sunshine were full of promise.

I thought Mario was going to win me over as the first couple of days focused on him.

I didn't take to John James or Rachael, thinking they were going to be this years Kris & Sophie.

I thought Steve looked like he was going to be a really interesting character.

I thought Nathan was going to be this years Lisa and hang around the ashtray for weeks on end.

I thought Corin was going to be really fake as she looked as if she went out of her way to look like Katie Price and all I saw was Lorraine Chase.

I found Dave annoying, wearing that outfit and all he did was laugh at everyone.

I thought Ife & Caoimhe looked like they were going to be bitches from hell.

I thought Josie was going to be this years dumb blond.

I thought Ben was going to be the hilarious one.

I don't recall seeing Govan till about 2 episodes on when I saw him in the bedroom and realised he was a housemate.

I liked John James and Josie going in and right up until the last couple of weeks when they decided to spend all their time under the duvet...and had the same conversation for weeks on end!!!!!

I never did like Sunshine or Keeva, Shabby was OK but I don't like the amount of attention she has had from BB since she walked!!!!
Dave has grown on me, I liked Ben up until the last week or so then got bored of his moaning..

Mario was my initial favourite, closely followed by Sunshine.
Sunshine became my top favourite after about 4 days and has remained there since, Mario has nose-dived to one of my hated.

I had high hopes for Josie, Govan and Nathan. I was totally disappointed with Govan and Nathan. Josie is funny, which I really love about her but unfortunately, something disturbing came along.

I felt a weird "attraction" towards Ben. I liked him but during the first days I would never have confessed it. He is now one of my favorites but sadly gone.

I also thought Mario would have been good. He has glimpses of potential but they're wasted on him really.

I thought I'd get a rash if Dave even opens his mouth but I was wrong and I thought I'd hate Sam but I adore him! Shabby grated me from the first moment I layed my eyes on her and that stuck to the very end.

Rachael was my very favourite to begin with, and Govan second. Then John went down because of his treatment towards Rachael. Shabby went to being my favourite from least favourite like a week into the show. And Mario always remained about in my top 5. Now I like John again, and Mario's become my favourite as Shabby's gone.

I normally never select a favourite until the end of week one, however only a day or two in and I was drawn to BEN, for 3 reasons, He seemed the odd one out, what he said was really worth listening to, I have many friends who are similar to BEN in character and personality.
I then just really liked the guy and felt he was going to be a great housemate,he was, he would have been the most worthy of being a BB winner but I do think in the end he will be remembered far longer than anyone in from the start,middle or who is left at the end and whoever is the eventual winner.
From that 3rd day BEN was my favourite and it never changed,I don't really have a favourite now,I don't need one we are still seeing BEN often on the TV anyway,he is getting more time on TV now than he got in BB highlights programmes except when the vile JJames argued with him.

I decided to be shallow and just supported Rachael because of how she looked. Others I liked were Nathan, Ben and John James. I thought Nathan was gonna win but he was quite crap in the house. John James turned out to be an absolute wanker. I liked Rachael up until her eviction. And Ben turned out to be my all time favourite housemate.

My favorite after launch night was Sunshine, but she quickly went down in my estimations. I wasn't huge on Rachael at first but she really turned things around for me in just 10 days. Ben I thought was interesting but I was neutral on him...then he turned me into a huge fan. Josie I thought would win it all, she had the potential and she seemed nice and down to earth (now I can't stand her).

I loved Corin from the word "go" and she's been my favorite since Week 2!

Yes, thankfully we will still get to see a lot more of Ben. When I first saw him on his VT before he went in I wasn't too impressed immediately. However, like you, I was attracted to his character and personality almost instantly, and he never disappointed me. Josie, on the other hand, was a big mistake and I very quickly went off her, especially when she got so friendly with that snake, Govan.

Now that Ben has left the house, I am now only still watching because of Sam, and I also quite like Jo and Andrew (when he's not hanging around Josie's backside). Sadly I think Jo and Sam will be gone before the final, and to be honest I don't care who wins so long as it's not JJ&J or Dave.

I usually wait to pick a favourite but Ben won me over from the word go with his manners and ability to hold conversations that were worth listening to. I liked Sunshine as she was different and I felt for her being a vegan stuck in there. I like Mario but now can't stand his tantrums and whining. Govan I thought could be good but I went off him pretty fast. Andrew I loved but since he has started hanging around with Josie I have gone off him a bit. Shabby I found funny at times but mainly didn't like her. Sam I love and just hope he can win and Jo is ok. Dave I find amusing as a housemate. JJames and Josie I can't stand and the others are really not doing much for me at all.

You are right Angus58,BEN never disappointed those who came to like him and support him, he never flew into silly vile tempered rants,he kept to his points of view,was dignified even in the most hositle of attacks from JJames and his so called friends too.

The real reason he didn't disappoint was because he is a solid guy,who can wipe the floor with opposition by his defence of what he's said made more calmly and in a more articulate way than the one attacking him.
That's what made JJames so angry,ranting like a madman. I doubt Jjames even understood most of the terms and words BEN said to him anyway.

Ben is definately one of the very best ever housemates and in my view the best anyway.

Launch night my faves were Mario, Josie and Ciaomhe.

I still like Josie but she's not my winner atm....cant stand Mario or Ciaomhe.

I also wanted to skin Dave and Shabby as they went into the house, but now I want Dave to win and was just starting to have some time for Shabby when she walked.
