Ski time is here again.....

I'm off Skiing next month (yeay!) and have just been shopping in Snow and Rock to get some new ski gear. We've had to kit my 18 month old daughter with all her togs and I had to post a few pic as she looks sooooo cute:

I'm going with school. last time I went (my first time) I was taking my anger out on all my friends cause I kept embarassing myself by flying off-piste lol and into fir trees... how embarassing.

Don't worry, I'm not too good myself, but its great fun when you get into the swing of it!:thumbs:

Dont get me wrong... I can ski but my hubby goes on the blacks and off piste and some how I dont think i will ever be able to do that.

As soon as my daughter is 3 she can go into ski shcool. i cant wait for that!!!!

Have a really good time. I was skiing at Christmas 2004 in Bulgaria... it was excellent. Met really nice people there too.:bigsmile:

skiing is my favourite sport ive been 3 times to France skiing its well good
ive meen to Morzine/Avoriaz twice
and to Les Deux Alpes once
its very fun, when i went fo the 1st time i was awful but by the end of the 1st trip i was getting alright - im now at expert level :spin:
i can handle Red slopes and maybe the easiest blacks but some blacks ive seen id probably brake my neck on lol :laugh:
i went on all 3 trips with my school - very very fun sport :thumbs:

erm kind of - but i only do about 3 sports regularly thats skiing, walking (Ten Tors) and winsfurfing
and I occasionally do mounting biking and tennis so I dont know is that classified as sporty? :conf:

of course it is :spin: - i used to love tennis in years 7-11 it was the only sport i enjoyed doing at school - hockey was alright, but i hated it when people hit it and it hits your ankles, i witnesed many occasions when it hit people in the face :shocked:

Reminds me of a time where I hit the ball between the home base and 1st post... backstop threw the ball, it clonked off my head into the middle of the field and I scored a full rounder!! With a nice bit bulge in my forehead (i looked very sexy). I've given up on hockey now, I'm getting a bit unfit now, I need to start jogging lol :hello::thumbs:

I'm embarrased to say that I've never been skiing in my life: it doesn't really appeal to me, but I'm glad that you enjoy it and evidently have so much fun!! :spin2:

Our school are so embarassing, if you go on the ski trip, and havent skiied before, they stick you in the "Bambi" group. Talk about ridicule!! :shocked::rolleyes:

I've only been once but I really enjoyed it... and as for the benders I couldn't fathom it either. I went out most nights with the rest of our ski group and I was absoolutely wrecked.
