Ex-housemates including 'nasty' Nick Bateman have ruled out appearing on Ultimate Big Brother.

The Big Brother 1 star, who achieved notoriety after he was thrown out of the show for rule-breaking, revealed on Twitter that he had turned down an offer to return to the house.

"Sadly on Friday, I turned down Big Brother's kind offer of going back into the house," he wrote.

Other contestants who claimed that they turned down being shortlisted for the final series twist include Kinga Karolczak, Imogen Thomas, Gerry Stergiopoulos and Billi Bhatti.

The rumoured lineup for Ultimate Big Brother includes Craig Phillips, Alex Sibley, Brian Dowling, Michelle Bass, Nadia Almada and Nikki Grahame.

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Makosi Musambasi, Brian Belo, Charley Uchea, Sophie Reade, Siavash Sabbaghpour and Celebrity Big Brother duo Preston and Chantelle Houghton are also tipped to appear.

However, Big Brother 10 winner Reade hinted that she may not be involved in the show by writing on Twitter that she had a holiday booked for Marbella in three weeks' time.

I'm taking it with a pinch of salt just in case it is the same line up from last week. I think Nick was eager to do last year's 10th series task but dropped out just because he wasn't getting paid, but I assume the all stars will be paid for their stint

I think in the case of Billi and Imogen they've said they've turned it down to gain some press. I doubt they were asked really.
