It seems as though if a black person wants to do well in big brother they have to act white and goofy like Brian Belo.... WTF!

Is it a coincidence that the only black person to go far was actually adopted by a white family and raised as a white man with black skin? No it's not, Brian played up to the non threatening goofy smiley silly Uncle Tom charicature that the Great white British public feel comfortable with, but as soon as a real black person is up for eviction they are straight out the door.
If Sam Pepper was black he would be vilified right now.

Oh just watching the channel 4 show now and the hm's are talking about Jo and it being a full gone conclusion..... lol

If she had shown some of the spirit she showed when she challenged JJ, JJ2 and lardy, throughout her time in the house and put a few of the housemates in their places, she would still be in there now.

mario is boring as ******* and that girl rachel from the series with darnell and rex (i forgot which one) she put me to sleep everyv time she was on even though she acted all wacky on her V.T and then she ended up winning the thing.

It seems to me if your a black person, you cant be too boring or they'll hate you and you can't be too opiniated or they will hate you more, if your black it seems you have to play the game just right in order to save yourself from the public vote. let alone get to the final.

I personally liked Belo and any implication of a white upbringing never crossed my mind when I wanted him to win. This is a great post, and I have wondered as well if brian was putting on an act, but to keep it going for this long he must be some kind of a genius.

Finally - someone who shares this opinion of him!! I always felt he was just being what he'd worked out a bb audience would want but no one else seemed to think this was the case so I kept quiet. I can remember bblb mentioning that he absolutely did know who shakespeare was because he'd passed gcse english but it kind of got swept under the carpet along with other things.

Also, I cant help wondering whether rifraf would have the same opinion if he didnt KNOW that brian's parents were white.

What a load of rubbish, first you get someone moaning that black people dont do well, then when Housemate Brian was pointed out that he won, you now saying he is more white than black, for gods sake, there is always someone trying to make out that racism is involved. Get real!! What annoys and worries me, is the fact that when a real racism act is involved, people wont take any notice, you know, like cry wolf!! all because some prat is not happy a black person is not in the house at this moment.

The real reason they are not there, is Rachel was up her own backside, she made it clear she thought she was better than others, that attitude dont go down well with the public. Then to the other extreme, Jo cried for days, was boring and didnt get involved. Nothing to do with them being black.
