Ive seen a few people saying that someone who causes arguements is FAR more entertaining..

I could not disagree more.

Arguements cause negative atmospheres and the fun is sapped from the house.

John james has done nothing but bitch and moan, cause arguements, talk tactics and nominations none stop, caused conflict after conflict and completely brought this series down for me.

I would much rather laugh with housemates.

Corin has made me laugh out loud SEVERAL times this series, shes adorable!

Some of the things shes says, her reactions to things, her diary room entries and her sheer determination in tasks.

She hasnt had to resort to bitching and backstabbing and nomination tactics to entertain me.

Shes been a strong, livley contributer to this series, who has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the house and made the most of it!!

THAT is an entertaining housemate....JJ is has made me switch off for days at a time, Corin has been the only thing keeping me watching!

Someone like john james should have served his purpose weeks ago, he has survived on his looks and is fauxmance with poor Josie!

I personally enjoy seeing arguments in Big Brother, but it doesn't matter with John James at this stage anyway. He is boring as sin to watch 99% of the time and is responsible for nearly every good housemate from this series getting evicted. That means he is an active show ruiner.

FGS Carole got into plenty of arguments (although she normally finished them by bursting into tears at will), was that a good enough reason to keep her in the house for 94 days?

I have to say that I don't mind some of the arguements as they can be entertaining - depending on who is putting who down. As much as I'm pleased that Jo was evicted on Friday I did enjoy watching her put John James in his place. He didn't have the guts to answer her back but, unfortunately, Jo left it too late.

I do agree with everything that you have said about Corin. She is the epitome of what a BB HM should be. All along she is the only one who has been true to herself and her enthusiasm for the tasks, her delight a being in the house is very infectious. Just a pity some of that some of her enthusiasm doesn't rub off on the others. It would be travesty if Corin didn't win.

We need people who will spark arguments off earlier on in the series...or it just gets boring.

I'd much much much rather laugh with the Josies and Corins of Big Brother than sit there watching the arguments and the nastiness
And that doesn't mean I want a house full of Steves
Just that the nastiness isn't necessarily needed!

Not sure I would consider Alexandra or Charley as great,very annoying though.

Aisleyne had a lot more to her,she was by far the most complex HM of BB7,her only downfall in my eyes was getting attached to Pete.

I think sometimes a huge arguement is needed to save the happy happy house tedum,its not the HM involved that makes it entertaining,its the situation around it.

Look at fight night for example.
It was the build up to the fight that was brewing,the division of groups of HMs that formed as things brewed,the excitement of seeing the arguement explode and the aftermath.
This is very different than the long drawn out bitchy arguements or the carefully timed arguements created by JJ in the hope of getting a nominated HM evicted.
