View Full Version : no second chance for nasty nick
i think anyone who walked or who were removed for whatever reason (eg nasty nick bateman) should not qualify to re enter the house

screw that he's an exception. he put the show on the map. he should be in. even if he's become a boring old fart his presence should be there to remind the others he's the reason the show became a hit :D

What he did was mild really ,it's not as though he killed anyone, but the way people reacted you'de have thought he had,so much more goes on now with no punishments.

Back then what he did would be nothing today.

Ironically, had he been in one of the later series' he would not have even been punished, let alone kicked out for what he did :D
I thought he said on twitter he wasint doing it now anyway?
I agree normally with the no walkers or kicked out hms allowed but he was the reason BB continued on our screens so in a way he has earned a place.

100% agree. He had the very first gameplan of being everyones friend whilst manipulating their views to nominate and evict others. He never got one nomination and was only "outed" by BB.
His plan was flawed though as the public could see his ****stirring and would never have voted for him to win.
I've said it before and ill say it again....****stirrers get the boot once the public decide.
That's why i believe that Josie will not win once the public get to choose.

I agree Nick should be allowed in UBB: generally walkers or anyone kicked out should not be seen again on any BB show
but he was different; my goodness - wonder what his punishment would be in BB11???
and as has been said - he really put the show on the map

He played the game (at the time it was brilliant) he never got nominated.......I reckon it would have been brilliant to have him in there

I love how everyone is so quick to slash Shabby fans that mention her going in UBB but Nick is like fine

Er..chalk & cheese?
It's a toss-up between Nick and Jade, for the most important housemate-ever on BB!
IMO!....The man's Big Brother royalty!!

I certainly agree, in principle, that should be the rule.
There could be exceptions with a 'walker' if (for example) someone had a serious family issue (a death, a cancer, a trial etc).
In Nick's case this really was an exception to the rule when you understand how this became so serious that people were throwing 'death threats' around.
At that time there was serious discussion about the possibility of some unstable or mentally deranged person maybe attacking the house itself.
Remember - they had never done this before and nobody really knew just what could happen. People really did wonder if some kind of mobs may form and riot outside the house.
Yes, this sounds exaggerated and silly now but I tell you these were real serious questions at that time.
But anyways,
Nick all but 'made BB' what we have today. He changed television. It was a 'national event'.
Nick was international.

He was the first real villain on BB and he wasnt even nasty....he was actually just playing the game for what it was, a social experiment.
The original was so far from what it evolved into.
For those that never got to see Nick in action, he even told a story in which his girlfriend was killed in an accident....had all the HMs almost in tears....but it was all lies.

I believe that 'Nasty' Nick is the most important contestant in BB history. I reckon that without him the show would not have been a ratings winner and would not be back for another series
