If you don't understand him you would think he is boring. His sense of humour is very deadpan and pretty subtle... obviously far too subtle for BB, which relies on the high humour of making fat jokes and falling off chairs.

He is also loyal and has obvious values that would put people a lot of older to shame.

Nobody needed to defend them from comments about their lack of entertainment value, because it was there for the viewers to see.

Actually, Last of the Summer Wine was more slapstick situational humour, based on gooning and quite lowbrow and probably quite suited to a fan of Sam's, whereas Andrew is more a thinking man's humour of deadpan, irony, and observation.

OK!...He's a bore!....But 'when all's said and done' , Steve is just an ordinary bloke that is 'enduring' this 'ordeal', just to try and get the 100k to pay off his mortgage and help with his hobby!(the expences from that basketball are crippling)!....And I for one , would'nt knock a man for trying to grasp a bit of luck!!...After-all, 'HE' did'nt decide that he was 'good enough' to be a HM!...No...that was someone else!!...And the fact that Steve is 'certainly boring', that makes me think that ...He's the realest person in the house!!...And that seems to be 'important' to most people on here, when they are attributing that particular 'virtue' upon , their chosen HM!!

And as for the other three...?
Well it's obvious that they think that they've got a free ticket to some kind of Z list stardom!.....Which...in itself is ok by me!....But they could at least have tried to 'earn it', by entertaining us a little, instead of trying to fly under the radar...all the way to the winners chair!!
