The house has never seemed to be that strong. Remember they have always warned the housemates not to escape by walking on the roof. It wasn't designed to be walked on. Also if you look at the camera runs they seem to be made of cardboard. It is just a protection against the elements not Fork Knox even though they would like to think it was. Still you would think it would be waterprood - this is the trouble with flat roofs in GB, not good. Bet the roofers are in trouble!

I worked in a company that handles these sorts of things and depending on where you live the Health and Safety rules can get quite serious and this most often came down to mold concerns.
They will have some massive fans in there drying it out but mold and mildew does seem the biggest health concern.

Of course Brits are accustomed to living in cold damp homes so maybe its just another day for some,
but,
what always worries me is that whole electrical thing. Just bothers me especially in an irregular specialty massively wired house like that heh.

You know the first thing I thought about was the Day One tour where Davina pointed to the tailor-made designer carpets and commented how much she love them,

How do you know the electrics aren't protected? the water could have been dripping from gaps where the electric isn't, or could have something on top of the electric which is waterproof maybe.

Yeah...it's gotta be a major worry. I hate to be pessimistic, but if those camera runs are half as bad as the lounge room, i'd think they would be totally screwed. Average houses or businesses which are flood damaged are not equipped with 50 camera's, and a team of cameramen/production staff - to consider. :(
