After his unremitting nastiness towards Corin for her refusing to do without her make-up. Is it right for him to use the excuse that he was bot putting any effort in because she had already refused.

Is it likely that if he had been asked to wear the crab costume before his bullying of Corin, that he would actually have done so.

Or is this just yet another example of mummy's boy spite and malice?
