Not necessarily, it's just that the contract hasn't been renewed past the next season yet. The Samoa/HvV ratings are up from Gabon/Tocantins so it's not necessarily toast.

Anyways, I am looking forward to this, although, I dont know what the deal is really. Young Vs Old, means the challenges arent gonna be very physical. They will probably make them kind of weak, like when its battle of the sexes. So I dont know how I feel about it really.

I think they're going to ease up on the physicality, for sure. They've got a couple of 60 year olds and a few 50 year olds against these built guys like Jud, Shannon and just about everyone else on the Young tribe. It's pretty stacked. So I think they'll dish out a fair amount of everything, mental and physical

I just think All-Star seasons don't work for Survivor. I mean fans love to see All-Stars compete and it's entertaining to watch but after it's all said and done, I can't really say that I look at All-Stars and Heroes vs. Villains as two of my favorite seasons. They're not even in the Top 5.

Just about everyone right now is a character or interesting, hopefully that keeps up. I'm almost sad that Shannon left so early, despite the amazing Tribal Council. He could have given so many great moments in the future.

He does suck. That's why he got 2 Jury votes out of a possible 18, that takes skill. He only made it as far as he did because he's a goat and anyone can beat him in a Jury vote. It's not a matter of the Jury being bitter, the bitter Jury argument is irrelevant. Every Jury votes through their emotions, it's human nature. People just twist it around to say someone was robbed of the win because of a bitter Jury. Obviously if the Jurors are bitter, Russell did something to cause that. This game is social, which Russell doesn't get, and if he doesn't get the reason why the Jurors are bitter, then he doesn't deserve to win. Ever.

And it's not beyond idiotic. What's beyond idiotic is to think that he was robbed and was actually a good player, like what you think. Russell causes his own demise, he doesn't deserve to win, and he will never win until he changes things up.

and is it me or is Jeff Probst starting to hate this season it seems that whenever a team or tribe does something wrong. He says it without even saying it. Well most likely now that he is a exec producer as well (Which is why he cancelled the immunity challenge in anticipation of them leaving also on Samoa when the other Russell collasped during the challenge he cancelled it right there)

I think it started wrong, old versus young was a terrible idea and caused potentially great characters to be voted off early on.

Naonka and Purple Kelly are insane to throw away a chance at winning one million. They both turned out to be disappointments. And Naonka going to the movie despite her planning on quitting; was real selfishness. I'm glad to see the back of her.

Wow the Benry/Fabio/Dan alliance made a HUGE blunder. They should've taken Sash in rather than making him feel unwelcome for a start, then they should've targetted Jane/Chase rather than their own fecking ally. That way they'd have a 4 piece alliance against 2.

All the people I liked in the game never made the final or even came that close. And of the three that made it, I thought Chase deserved it a bit more, even if he was a bit wishy-washy.

Also I think Naonka and Purple quitting kinda ruined the season for me, that and the awful team divide at the start. But I'm thrilled to see there'll be another season.

I'm fairly happy Fabio won, his tactics were simple but obviously highly effective.

However I would have voted for Sash to win. He got himself into comfortable positions throughout the game, managed to TALK Marty into giving him an Idol.

I'm a huge survivor fan, i've watched every episode from the beginning, and even remember the absolute obsession in this country during the first 2 seasons. (i've since learned that Uk was going nuts in the same way for big brother)

Unfortunately Survivor has not been able to recapture the same level of national obsession it had during the first 2 seasons, but i've been loyal.

This season was good, great casting. Also I think the editors have been reading the forums, 'cause the editing has been much more unpredictable this year. NaOnka and Marty are sure-fires for the next all-stars.

I was very happy with Fabio winning, he was a favourite for me since the beginning, ever since Nay stole his socks, and he responded so calmly. If that b**** stole my socks i woulda smacked her so hard back to LA it would cause an earthquake.

Fabio was strong. We tend to underestimate the physical and emotional struggles these people go through on this show. They are starving, for food and love. They are cut off from everything and everyone they've ever known. So i did feel that Jeff was a bit strong fisted when dealing with Nay and P.Kel quitting.

Fabio was a strong player in every sense. He truly Outlasted, Outplayed, and Outwitted everyone else.

Great winner.

Can't wait for Redemption Island.
