Nah, John James has defined this series, really. She's only really had a big impact because of him...as far as I can remember she was fairly insignificant in the first few weeks. I remember predicting she was going to be one of the bores.

Because it's a game. It would be a FAR more interesting show if they were forced to play games, manipulate, be malicious etc.

The USA have it spot on.

The fact of the matter is - these big, malicious, gameplaying characters that everyone loves to hate MAKE the show...no one would watch if it was a house full of Steve's. And no matter what anyone says, that is a fact. The point I'm always trying to make is purely because these characters make the show - they should win. Why the **** should being dull and sitting on your arse be rewarded? It's a gameshow and gameplayers should be rewarded.

No one would love to tell you it wont happen more than me ,but it will ,I have never been so sure she or plastic mush has p1$$ed it ,I would LOVE to announce I believe Sam will win ,but I know he wont ,get some booze in ,get off your face and turn over !! BB4 was the worsed of the 1st 4 shows without a doubt as everyone was mainly nicey nicey, but the show was on a downer anyway as the producers failed to make the show different. After that the attempt to spice it up with mouthy gobsh1tes only helped the demise and fan erosion as people got sick of the turds being washed up.
It's the eviction of the sh1tes that has kept me interested otherwise i would have switched off years ago if the mouthy ones were shown to succeed.

And i think saying it has gone downhill since Rachel Rice is being a tad innaccurate seeing as it has been struggling for far longer than that. And the main reason its being canned is that CH4 got a bloody nose after the Goody/Shetty race row. It was doomed from then.

Yes it became the show for freaks as well, as many people turned to the off button. It was doomed from then on as the main stream just ridiculed it to the point it only gets publicity for controversy. Even the Suns coverage is minimal nowadays.
The fact is, BB was a good idea that couldnt maintain its popularity except for those that like to see the freaks. The many original viewers were turned off by the bores of BB4 or scared off by the freaks of BB5.
