He said at the beggining of the series he was bullied at school because of his height...maybe it was mainly girls bullying him?
Most bullies [although I wouldn't call John a bully] bully people because they were once bullied/victimised themselves.
Would explain things really...

No one said it did...but it's a well known fact that most bullies were bullied themselves.

Mummy issues. I'd put money on him treating his mother like absolute crap.

There's no excuse for his rude, disrespectful behaviour. He's just a pathetic child masquerading as a grown up.

He was probably bullied by attractive girls when at school and is taking his revenge on any female he meets - with the exception of Josie who is a mother figure.

"Small man syndrome"
This guy is the type of person who ends up being a wife beater, seriously.
He needs to sort his demons out.

Sounds very plausible to me.

He's a c*ck. He contradicts himself in just about ever argument I've seen him have. Why do people like him?

He's a disgraceful coward who relies on mummy to sort out his life/mistakes for him. Thumbsucker is his surrogate but only BB can dry his tears!
I think that aswell. However it still gives him no right to say the stuff he does.

Because while he may be a vile wanker, he is a great housemate that has caused numerous arguments, pissed numerous people off, given lots of people things to talk about, had a huge impact on the series, played the game [it's a gameshow], generally stirred it up and stopped it being dull in there...at one point at least for a good few weeks.

I feel sorry for anybody who has been/is bullied but despise those who have been on the receiving end and then choose to go on to become bullies themselves. You would hope that they would have a little more insight and humanity.

Very simple. His mother, you learn your manners from your family,jj is the definiton of spoilt bratty mummys boy. If his mother has any sense should be ashamed of him.

I wasn't implying you were excusing him. As far as I can see you just kicked the discussion off.

His parents have clearly allowed him to get away with far too much - and now his father is no longer around he's even worse.
But wait.............. we are talking about a "man" of 24... not a 12 year old! :joker:

Fair enough, my apologies.
No he hasn't, he's just been an annoying bully.
Bully is an over exaggeration...infact it's an insult to real victims of bullying. At best he has picked on people.
Really though he's just been a wanker. But wankers on Big Brother make great TV - and make the show what it is.

His arguments have been mainly embarrassing for him.

I don't think he's been that great a HM actually.
Far too much airtime for him and Miss Bristol under the duvet.

This is stereotypical australian male behaviour. Super competitive winner takes all attitude with little or no respect for the female gender as they tend to physically weaker than males.
I dont know if he believes the rubbish he comes out with or it is all part of his game plan but I believe its the later and he has made several crucial errors in the last few weeks since Ben left. He has become increasingly over-confident and this has let his guard down as to thinking that he has all the public fooled as well as many of the housemates.
His non-commital to the crab suit wearing was a huge error as the public could see his duplicity in the way he was with Ben and him doing exactly the same. He then realised that this may be the case after other housemates had pointed out to him and he realised the public would see this.
People need to understand just what a driving force this need to win is to the Australian nation. I personally understand and sympathise with the guy at one level while hoping that he will get it all wrong as he seems to have done recently. Lets remember it is a gameshow and all he has done is played his game.
I prefer housemates to be up front with their games like Victor. I used to love him telling BB what his plans were even if he didnt even get close to fulfilling them. It was so funny.
However, I dont think John James could have got away with this, as Victor inevitably didnt either, as many of the public think that its real life and not a game and thus think he was insincere, untrustworthy and not the sort of person they would like to win a fat wedge of cash at the end of the day.

Not all those bullied - go on to bully - only the inadequate ones! Not to mention - all your assumptions! There is no excuse for the gob on a stick's behaviour!
Partly Australian culture, it can be a bit brutal over there. One example of society in Australia is that the police have been know to be corrupt beyond belief, think it's changed/changing a lot now though. But can you imagine the so called figure heads of society being the most corrupt. Britian is actually possibly the most fair and tolerant country in the world, i really don't think he can handle culture over here.

I very much doubt the majority of decent Aussie men would take kindly to being compared to the pathetic JJ1 - I almost feel sorry for the wimp, he is going to get such stick when he returns home. According to mumsy dearest he treats women as "equals"! Well that doesn't explain why he only picks on women and passive blokes like Ben who don't need to beat their chests to prove they're men. God how deluded is this woman? She has to take a lot of the blame for the way he's turned out.

he collects barbies..is it to destroy them, tear their heads off or is it because he stays locked in his room with them and worship an unrealistic female body image and hates anyone that come close to the barbie body but doesn't quite get it right? it sees it as an offence to barbie?:conf:
Josie asked him how come he doesn't have a problem with her but seems to have one with other girls....maybe it's because josie causes no offence to his beloved barbies?
