I have a feeling HMs get paid (something like) £250 a week while they are in the house, but have never seen that confirmed. It could be that this money would not be paid out if they breach their contract.

But JJ1 wouldn't give a toss about that if he is genuinely wealthy.

They accrue £30 per day for the time they spend in the house plus any appearance fees after being evicted, not enough to bother our cry-baby BUT he could well be responsible for Channel 4 incurring monetary losses by his truculent refusal to honour his contract and that may be considerably more than a paltry £2,000 per diem amount.
