I am so happy to see Barrymore as a runner up... however I really do hope that the press and the police will leave Michael to live his life as he would want to, rather than bombard him with legal papers and false stories. What's done is done now and must be forgotten about.

People have accepted Barrymore as a very vulnerable, insecure man but we have seen how much his confidence has grew, his happiness flourished and we saw the real Michael (even though that could be a bad thing).

Please. The guy is back on track. He's happy, most of us like him and he's a strong character. He deserves better than having his soul destroyed by the police and courts etc.

Well done, BARRYMORE :spin::thumbs::wavey::spin2::dance::bouncy:

Some of my thoughts about Barrymore have changed, and I erally do wish him well. That said the authorities will only leave him alone if he is innocent and has nothing to answer for. If evidence suggests that more enquiries need to be made then they will be.

I would like the press to leave him alone, he has been portrayed in a very negative light for a long time and it is about time they gave him a break.

Michael has done great and I am so pleased he was runner up, should of won it in my eyes but runner up might be best because he would find it emotional to deal with. Well done Michael you are an inspiration for recovering alcoholics and sufferers of ocd. I cant see the press leaving him alone they will be ready to pounce but Michael has won over the public and they are who matter not the press.

If Michael is innocent of charges I hope the media leave him alone and wish him luck. However, if he is guilty, then justice should be served.

I'm pleased for him to finish in the final three. The press has been nasty to him, saying some of the worst things about him which was totally out of order.

I agree - Winning would have def been too much, he was a superb HM - he kept the show going many times & as a recverer myself I know what it would have taken for him to go the distance, the crowd were great, I dreaded boo's but the cheers were just the job! I changed my opinion of him too!

Unfortunately Michael is already facing legal action. I'm surprised I'm the one to say it, I thought you'd know already. Someone tried to get Michael taken out of the BB house early but BB would not allow that to happen. Michael probably wont be involved with the court thing until Feb 10th or so if I remember correctly. I wish him well, he's a good man.

Hes doing the Friday Night Project this coming Friday.

If you knew what I know about what happened to that poor lad who died, you probably would be anti-Barrymore. The kid didnt get those injuries by himself- someone inflicted them.

Im not suggesting it was Michael 'wot done it', but somebody did.

Stuart Lubbock wasnt a kid, he was a 31 year old adult and father of two children. He attended a party with drugs. He had both alcohol and cocaine in his system. Let's not try and make out as if Lubbock was completely innocent... He didnt deserve to die, but, he wasnt exactly being a good father...repeatedly jumping (bombing) into a swimming pool at night while intoxicated on booze and drugs.

Very sad. Anyway thats my point of view.

James posted a very interesting article here a few weeks ago, which goes into a lot of detail about the available evidence and other matters. But the detail is best left where it is for those prepared to read it, rather than dropped into a general thread.

Yeah, I saw that article.

Its quite shocking and alarming what people are prepared to do for kicks.

Somebody should be held to account.

I think he should be left alone, however if he is guilty (like jrc said) justice should be served.
IM 99% sure hes innocent and the media have portayed him awfully since the events in 2001.
Hopefully he can make a comeback in Britain - if he is harassed by police and negative media much more, i wouldnt be surprised if he would have a nervous breakdown, leave the poor guy in peace.
well done to him on finishng 2nd :wavey:
